The draw for the round of 16 of the European Champions League was repeated in the Swiss city of Nyon, today, Monday, after the first witnessed a technical error.

The new lottery resulted in fiery clashes, in which the "winners and losers" are presented:

Winners

Benfica X Ajax

Benfica benefited greatly from being away from Real Madrid, their opponent, in the first draw, and facing Ajax in El Jadida, and the Dutch team also benefited by moving away from their former opponent, Inter.

This confrontation is balanced between the two teams, with the balance tilted somewhat towards the Dutch team, after the strong performances it made in the group stage.

Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich is one of the most prominent candidates for the title, but this does not mean that the Bavarian giants want to engage in heavy confrontations early, as it was in the first draw against Atletico Madrid.

Bayern is in the confrontation, which can be described as the easiest, in this role against Austrian Red Bull Salzburg, which cannot be classified between winners or losers, especially since its first draw was against Liverpool, and therefore the two confrontations are very difficult.

Atletico Madrid x Manchester United

Of course, Atletico are among the winners by avoiding the first confrontation against Bayern Munich, despite the nobility of Manchester United, but the fluctuation of its results this season and in recent years in general, makes it a better opponent for Rojiblancos than facing the Bavarian giant.

United is also a winner by moving away from Paris Saint-Germain, its opponent in the first draw. The Parisian team has a devastating attacking battalion of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, while Atletico is not going through its best conditions either this season, and therefore the confrontation will be close between the two teams.

Manchester City

Manchester City can be considered among the winners. Although the first draw was not so complicated against Villarreal, the Spanish team crowned the European League last season, embarrassed Chelsea in the European Super, and have European experiences that may exhaust coach Pep Guardiola's men, unlike Sporting Lisbon looks like an affordable opponent for the England champions.

Villarreal

Of course, one of the most prominent winners, of course, is Villarreal by moving away from Manchester City and their strong desire to crown the Champions League title, and despite the history of Juventus, the opponent of the yellow submarines in the new draw, the poor results of the old lady this season motivate the Spanish team to achieve the surprise.

losers

Real Madrid X Paris Saint-Germain

The two teams are losers, especially Real Madrid, which was supposed to face Benfica in the first draw, while Paris Saint-Germain would have faced Manchester United, who is suffering this season, unlike Real, the leaders in the Spanish league.

Liverpool x Inter

In the first draw, Liverpool had the easiest match in the round of 16, as it was supposed to face Salzburg, but it fell in a difficult confrontation against Italian champions Inter.

Inter are also among the losers, despite the good technical condition of Ajax, their former opponent in the first draw, but it is not as difficult as Liverpool, which is one of the best teams in Europe at the moment.

Sporting Lisbon

The second draw put the Portuguese team in a difficult confrontation against Manchester City, the champion of England and runner-up in last year's edition,
