Today for my #needleworkmonday post I bring a Upcycled project again, this time is a pair of pants for my baby girl . Hoy para mi publicación de #needleworkmonday traigo un proyecto de upcycled de nuevo, esta vez un pantalón para mi beba

A friend give me a short from his daughter, but I live in a big backyard home, full of dirt a mosquitoes so I am not into my baby using short ... so I was looking around how transform them... Un amigo me regalo estos Shorts, pero como vivo en una casa con patio grande, lleno de tierra y zancudos, la verdad no me gusta que ella use pantalones cortos asi que bueno decidí transformarlos...

I found a long sleeve shirt, I mesure my daughter leg, and she has smaller legs than those sleves... so... Encontré una camisa manga larga, medi las piernas de mi hija, y aún son más cortas que esas mangas.. así...

I cut them and added Las corte y las pegue

Change the original bottoms for ones of clay handmade ... Cambié los botones por unos hechos a mano de cerámica.

A good solution to use the cute shorts and protect your daughter. Mosquitoes are no fun. I live near a river and here are also many mosquitos, but the real problem are ticks which transmit dangerous diseases.

Thank you!!
Well here mosquitoes transmit some diseases like dengue... and we also have dogs who has ticks sometimes...

Uhhh dengue fewer is not nice either (meaning possibly deadly in worst case) here the ticks infect with virus meningitis and borrelliosis both also not too nice. Especially the first. Here you have to search the whole body after being in the forest or meadow, so that you can find the ticks fast enough. But it is recommended to vaccinate against the disease

Thanks for sharing your creative and inspirational post!

Oh that's clever!! I'm a mom and we also mostly use LONG pants for children due to mosquitoes. Love the upcycling (and the bilingual post). :)
