Past is experience , past is lesson , a memory , an era .
Past means the time that has passed and future means the time to come. In order to move in the right direction in the coming time, it is very important for us to learn lessons from the past. Past is only and only meant to learn ... feel, receive and leave. The only thing that deserves effort and time ... focus is PRESENT.
In the past, the good work we do brings us success and the bad work we do makes us taste failure. So, learning from our failures, we should stop making those mistakes in the future so that we can only get success and feel less hurt .
If we try to understand the meaning of the word past and future in one line, then it is that the past is the teacher of the future. We should move forward in the future by learning from the past. We should not look back and should not live in a past phase. We should not feel sad for the mistakes we have made but we should correct our direction by taking a pledge not to repeat the same mistake in future.
I think the person I am today would have not made that certain mistake because I have conscience but the old me was innocent and uneducated. She didn't knew and so made a mistake . Henceforth, blaming and judging her for her mistakes with the conscience I have today is just unfair and wrong .
Those who live in their past and keep thinking about their past happiness or work, they stop their progress and their life remains at that point. Rather the person who moves forward by learning from his past mistakes makes his future productive.
As I already said the only thing that deserves time and efforts is our present. Past is to learn and move on while future is not something in our hands . We can only work on our present and decide our near future upto some extent . So working on your present makes one build their future.
Life is all about moving forward, not about stopping. Choosing the past means stopping in your life. Choosing the future means moving forward in your life and productively remaining in present . Hence, I will always choose the future.

Reflecting on similar cases a lawyer can give an insight into the result of a case at hand. Everything we are taught today in schools is scientific past experiences. So embracing the past is what we should do to amend the future
