Speaking of a favorite player, Didier Drogba was born on 11 March 1978. He is Ivorian and a retired professional footballer who played in several clubs as a striker. Drogba was the captain of Ivory Coast from 2006 until he retired from the national team and is the Ivory Coast all-time top goalscorer with a wonderful performance which he scored 65 goals from 105 appearances. Didier Drogba led his national team to the 2006 FIFA World Cup, their first appearance in the tournament, and not also did lead to the FIFA world cup, he also scored their first goal.

His career at Chelsea made him very famous, where he has scored more goals than any other foreign player. Speaking of goals, currently Chelsea fourth highest goal scorer of all time. The Chelsea fans named Drogba was named in the Chelsea team of the 2010–2020 decade. He was named twice the African Footballer of the Year, winning the title in 2006 and 2009.

After Didier Drogba played for the youth teams, Drogba had the opportunity to place his first professional debut at age 18 for Ligue 2 club Le Mans, and also signed his first professional contract aged 21. He ended his 2002–2003 season with 17 goals in 34 appearances for Ligue 1 side Guingamp. Thereafter, he moved to Olympique de Marseille, and carried on with is a good performance where he finished as the third-highest scorer in the 2003–04 season with 19 goals. His fantastic performance helps the club reach the 2004 UEFA Cup Final.

The good performance 2004 UEFA made Chelsea developed an interest in him which lead to his move to Chelsea in 2004 for a club-record £24 million fees, making him the most expensive Ivorian player in history. In that season he helped Chelsea win their first league title in 50 years, and a year later he won another Premier League title.

Is good performance never ends there, in March 2012, he became the first African player to score 100 Premier League goals. After two months, Didier Drogba had an outstanding performance where he scored in Chelsea's 2012 FA Cup Final win which made him became the first and as of 2017, and he is the only player to score goals in four different FA Cup finals.

There is no how we will talk about Didier Drogba without talking about his performance in the 2012 UEFA Champions League Final, in which he scored a penalty 88th-minute equalizer and which lead to the defect of Bayern Munich. Thereafter, moved to Galatasaray where he spent one and half-season and he scored the winning goal in the final of the 2013 Turkish club. Didier Drogba also spent 6 months in Shanghai Shenhua. He didn't end his career there, he returned to Chelsea in July 2014.

Speaking of Drogba career record, he scored ten goals in ten finals winning ten trophies at club level, he has been termed as the "ultimate big-game player." He moved to the Montreal Impact in 2015, a Canadian club. In Montreal, he played 41 matches in two seasons and scoring 23 goals. He retired at the age of 40, and that is a year last for he became a player–owner for Phoenix Rising of the United Soccer League in 2017.

Didier Drogba is very active in any that have to do with social issues. He has a good I'm part n the peace process in Ivory Coast. Didier Drogba is also Vice President of the international organization Peace and Sport in 2018.
