Hey, get closer because I am going to enlighten you on the different activities and problems Nigerian Campuses face especially in the ‘University Of Nigeria, Nsukka’ and how i personaly plan on utilizing the steemit platform to solve it hereby indirectly promoting the steemit platform and also making people consistent with it. Hold on to yourself and dive in with me.

A) Promoting Steemit On Campus Guidelines

1. Awareness and promotional value

Student or not we all are aware that advertisements or awareness campaigns sometimes add more stress to students problems because their sole desire is to make people join without directly helping them solve their needs or problems and for this reasons many students just view that adverts without acting or been involved in them.

Steemit way of solving it

As a student living in Nigeria where corruption has taken a deep dive into our societies, the most active and compelling advert we would love to see is

"how our voices would be head through steemit."

Steemit should utilize the opportunity to raise campaigns and adverts with the sole aim or making students concern reach the world by simply making them join the community.

2. Steem it food festival with massive registration

Free food, that's all you need to attract students but in reality and from a students perspective, it is an ordinary dinner where students come to meet each other without even paying attention to the organizes and their speech.

Steemit way of solving it

i) Earning purpose

Remember that steemit sole aim here is to provide an earning opportunity for students and that topic alone will not only fill in the void of a failed event but also prove that the platform does care for students.

The platform can use the hash tag and give free rewards to new members that were prevent at the event with evidence gotten at the event by old members.

3. Members testimonies and stories through campus meet-and-greets sections.

Sure students meeting are fun but what they lack is the sense of belonging and acceptance and people that they look up been absent there

Steemit way of solving it

Holding a greet section is fun but what makes it different is the students excitements when they hear that the steemit platform is partnering with school steemit representatives to help students meet their financial goals which in return promotes this platform and aspire students passion better.

4. Invitation cards and flyers

Cards, flyers, posts and shirts are important but sincerely most of this recruitment cards end up in the waste bin and the money been spent of them end up been wasted mainly because there are no rewards been attached to it.

Steemit way of solving it

New members can simply snap and provide this flyers when they make their 1st post in order to receive more steem, tron or rewards for not trashing the cards given to them by old members hereby solving the issue of cards been misused.

5. Making the registration process simple

From the personal experience, the steemit registration was quite not simple as i thought and if not because of the experience provided to me by @awesononso, it would have been a bit challenging. Even though it is a decentralized platform but steemit can do better by making the whole process simple and less intimidating.

B) MAKING CONSISTANT MEMBERS

One thing is sure, the platform should avoid making most things compulsory for members because it will clearly reduce the active members and the consistency of the new ones and the bellow efforts will increase the platforms engagement.

1. Sponsoring a local event within the school arena

This process would allow it user's to create more engagement post on their different communities to earn more steem and rewards hereby confirm their engagement during the event and also indirectly raising awareness of the platform on many occasions.

2. Creating a new online community for members

In the case of #steemfoodfestival we discussed earlier, the platform can keep members engaged by creating new communities and making posting in the various platforms easy and simply while attaching rewards for it's members alike.

3. Creating a recruitment community and plan and rewarding it users

The platform would create active users when the workers in a particular community are tasked and rewarded on registering new members and rewarding them for it and also not making it compulsory because it will overwhelming students.

4. Making a better user experience for old and existing members

Sure making and attracting new members are important that what makes everything complete is by making it active users experience extraordinary and this only makes the work experience complete.

5. Appointing campus representatives and assistants

Truth be told steemit experience is for all age group but making a students hand full worth of experience would bring more active camous users and engagements to the platform.

NB:

1. More voluntary work needs to be incorporated to make this work and avoiding making things compulsory would raise more engagements and team work.

2. Steemit should avoid using political entities to promote their works.

3. What students wants is been engaged in something that would bring monetary value to them and I believe the following above steps would make things better.
