Campus Connect Week 27 Contest: Skilling Up as a College Student || by @edidiongeffiong

HELLO FRIENDS,

How is your day going, I hope is going smoothly. I welcome you all to my blog.
I'm really happy to participate in another contest here in @campusconnect, and also i really want to thank @campusconnectng for giving us the chance in showcasing our intentions regarding our individual skills and the ones we wish to acquire.

Jobs nowadays is really hard to get in our country Nigeria, so the best thing to do is learning a skill and be perfect at it, to help your self in future in case you find it difficult in finding a job.

That is why i think that is compulsory for every student to learn a skill or skills because not every graduate will be employed in Nigeria.

ABOUT THE SKILLS I WISH TO ACQUIRE

The skills i always wish to acquire is Fashion designing and Graphics designing, those two things have always been on my mind since when i was in secondary school

FASHION DESIGNING

The reason i want to learn fashion designing is that i really love fashion, and it generates money cause almost every day a lot of people are buying and sewing clothes which you all know that it will never stop, and it also gives me joy anytime i see a fashion designer working in their shops and i always say to my self that i will have that someday.

GRAPHICS DESIGNING

Graphics designer communicate information through visual concepts, for example billboard, poster, logos and marketing materials.
They use images, colors, shapes etc. to transfer information to the audience.

This is also one of the skill i really wish to learn, it fun and stress-free. I really thank God that one of my friend is a graphic designer, which will make it easy for me to learn.

CONCLUSION

Learning a skill is very relevant in this our country Nigeria, especially the way things are now jobs are very limited. With the skills you have acquired you can survive anywhere and you won't have to depend on anyone or beg for anything.
