As a tailor, the store I mostly patronize is the tailoring materials shop where products related to Sewing and fashion are found. Therefore, I wish to review Madutex shop located at Keffi-Abuja road Akwanga Nasarawa State close to E-Library.
The Store
The CEO of Madutex is called Gabriel Madu Eze who hails from the Eastern part of Nigeria to do his business in my city located at the Middle Belt region of Nigeria.
He is a friendly and business minded young man in his late 40s married to his beautiful wife Irene Eze and the marriage is blessed with 7 kids. The business is a family business because everyone helps in attending to customers except when the kids are away in school. They used to have sales boys but were all fired because most of the boys were stealing from their boss and were unfortunately caught and sent away which made the business strictly family.
What can be found at Madutex
There are several fashion related materials sold in the store and they are:
- Wrappers
- Lace material
- Lining
- Zip
- Breast pads
- Paper gum
- Gumstir
- Scissors
- Tap
- Buttons
- Head gear
All the above products are sold which gives tailors ease from traveling long distance to get materials for sewing to give their customers that beautiful and satisfying look and also enhances the fashion world.
Madutex deals in both wholesale and retail which serves everyone at the level you wish to patronize no matter the quantity you want to buy.
Products Price
- Wrappers: there are different grades and qualities of wrappers at Madutex ranging from 55,000 naira, 15,000 naira, 5,000 naira and 2,000 naira which is equivalent to 250 per steem.
- Lace: for lace materials, it's also ranges in grades and prices and it's sold per yard
16,500 naira, 8,000 naira, 4,000 naira and 2,200 naira
*Lining: there are different colours of lining to match the colours of any material a tailor wishes to sew and the price per yard is 220 naira each
Zip: there are zips for 30 naira, 800 naira, 70 naira depending on the grade you want
Scissors are sold 500 and 700 naira respectively
Tap is 50naira
Breast pads, and paper gum are sold according to the amount you desire and they are sold according to yards at 400 and 200 naira respectively
