Winter means that everyone has a different taste of pitha. In winter, village people make many types of pies, but it is not that the city people also make very few. They also make a lot of delicious pithas like the village people. Only those who have grown up in the village from a very young age can understand the feeling of having pitha in the morning in the village. Eating pitha in Konkan winters is really much more than I can't explain how many beautiful moments I spent as a child. As we grow older, those beautiful moments disappear from our lives. After much searching and trying, we can't find those moments anymore. With the change of seasons, winter appears in our life as always, but winter is not spent in such a way that there is no desire to enjoy such a winter like that winter of childhood. As time changes, so do our pleasures.

However, now that I live in Dhaka, the environment of Dhaka and the village environment are always different. You can tell the obverse and reverse of the coin. Is there any saying that I will not eat pitha now because I live in Dhaka?!! Still, if we see all kinds of pitha on the side of the road, we stop there to eat pitha. Anyway, just before evening yesterday, elder brother called and said let's go somewhere. We always enjoyed spending time with our brother. It is never possible for my brother to call and not to meet my brother. So we left the phone very quickly and went out for a walk with my brother.

We walked a little way through the small streets of the city and then we were moving forward along a main road. Suddenly, a pitha shop came into view. The pitha shop was hot and steaming pitha. By that time, it was almost evening, the lights were shining all around, the whole area was bright with the light of the lamp post on the side of the road. Just under that lamp post, an uncle is making steamed pitha and arranging the pitha in the glass. It looks very good. As soon as I got there, I smelled a steaming pita. Is it possible to leave with this scent..??

Very quickly we went in front of uncle's shop and asked him about pitha. He says uncle eat pitha, 10Bdt/(0.410 steem) per piece. It was good to hear that this evening hot steamed pitha is also 10Bdt/(0.420 steem) a piece. As soon as I heard it, I started eating the hot pita from my uncle's shop. By that time it was almost evening and the smoke coming out of the steamed pita in the evening in the light of the lamp post, the whole thing seemed different, it seemed so much more exciting that I can't tell you. After that we ate almost three pies in one day. Although it is prepared in one way at home and in a different way here, it was not too bad from the homemade pitha. I like it very much. Although it was a little late in the evening so there weren't too many people.

To know how uncle is selling, uncle said that it is selling fairly well every day. At that time, someone who was nearby asked him why there were no people, then uncle said that it was only evening, because of which people were not seen much. The deeper the night gets, the more people come here because it is more delicious to eat pitha in the cold of the night due to which people don't want to come so much in the evening. And in the evening people are very busy, everyone gets too busy with everyone's activities, due to which the time to eat pitha may not become anyone's.

That day's pitha was very delicious to me. Sometimes I try to eat any kind of pitha from the roadside shop like steamed pitha whole pitha and oil fried pitha. I find these pithas from roadside stalls much tastier.
