Greetings Steemians, I appreciate this contest creator @meraindia for formulating this wonderful contest. This contest came at the right time after I received my first ample, large vote on Steemit which was barely last week and I am exceedingly glad to write on this

MY FIRST AMPLE VOTE ON STEEMIT

The fact that Steemit had always intrigued me with its promises of rewarding content creators with cryptocurrency is amazing, I appreciate the platform for that.

The Journey to receive my first ample vote was never an easy one, it took the best out of me. As I said earlier this happened last week after dreaming severally of being voted for a large amount, I dreamt a lot about my post being curated for, actually this happens to most people it is known as curiosity, I was very curious in checking my notifications every day, It became a habit and I never stop till I found something🥺🥺.

It was on a morning as my curiosity increased my consistency never decreased, I unlocked my phone and logged into the Steempro app, and I saw my profile icon indicating RED meaning that I got a new notification with my curiosity I opened my notification, Oh wow, I screamed aloud to my cousin who has always helped give me good shots on his iPhone 11 to improve my image quality on the platform, How much have you been curated he asked? $9+ in one post I responded.

HOW WERE YOUR FEELINGS AFTER GETTING YOUR FIRST AMPLE SUPPORT?

My first ample vote has changed my attitude towards Steemit, It was very exciting I didn't even know how to express it ( Oh I am grateful), The recognition of my efforts by a fellow Steemian, who believed in my content enough to provide a substantial vote, was a validation of my hard work, and that alone has increased my consistency on the platform, I spend most of my time on the steem pro app and I am making sure no other social media platform takes its place. My motivation has increased more than ever before and I hope to be given more ample vote than this 👉 Link

As I mentioned earlier "curiosity", I have always been curious. Wanting to share, know more and be given an ample vote as I contribute by creating quality posts has always been my dream. The Journey has been going smoothly as I explore more wonderful features on the Steemit blockchain-based social media platform. In this journey, I have received valuable lessons, and learnt from mistakes like when I was told by a community representative that I was in club75 but I used club 5050 instead and I was told to change the tag. In this journey I learnt the power of a community, communities are powerful as was popularly said by my uncle "A man cannot cook for a community to its satisfaction, but if a community cooks for a man he won't be able to finish it".

Challenges are inevitable; In my first instance the challenge I had was how to apply markdown styling, I keep forgetting them but my consistency in its usage has made it part of me. Another challenge was easy visibility of new posts, friends posts, community posts and a seemingly easy way of voting and commenting on the site but I am glad the Steem pro app got the solution.

While there are many things to embrace on Steemit, there are also some things to avoid. I will be sharing a few success tips and things to avoid in simple terms and a tabular form, the tips are self-explanatory and are needed for your success in the Steemit community.

In conclusion, the journey wasn't easy but it went well as I spiced it with consistency, and my first ample vote gave me great motivation and I am longing to receive more from Steemit curators, I use this opportunity to invite my friends @starphyreblooms @mayzapata2010 @basil20 @bossj23 to be a part of this contest, I will be glad to read through their experience.
