You can login with steemkeychain and your current Steem Keys. The sight will be a copy of Steem. Then after Fri. It will no longer sync with the Steem blockchain. It will continue on it's own Hive blockchain. Its live at https://hive.blog.

      Should all be good as the keys are the same for your account and the Keychain is tied to the site requesting the authorization.

        Either or there's, no need to log in to it activate anything. You are able to log in at the moment with your existing Keys. After Fri. though, if a new account is created on Hive it will not be the same on Steem and vice-versa.
