I wanted to be someone who can,
Take on responsibilities seriously,
I wanted to be patient and kind.
Show the truth to all this,
Show me courage and hope,
Give me the reason to stand up.
What is my sole purpose,
I know I can be more, but show me,
My path to life’s journey.

Great poem! I guess the most disheartening part of adulthood and life in general is that it doesn't come with a manual. You have to make mistakes and learn from them and that's the journey of life
