Okra
This is Okra, scientifically known and referred to as Abelmoschus esculentus. It is a green, edible seed pod usually used in culinary art. It is well known in Africa and most time called gumbo or lady's finger. Developing from the ovary of a flower and containing seeds technically makes Okra a fruit, but in cooking as well as everyday contest and due to its uses in culinary and savory flavor, it is referred to as a vegetable.
Okra is rich in minerals, vitamins, as well as fiber, and is frequently used in soups, stir-fries, and stews. When cooked, it has a lubricous texture, which through methods of cooking such as grilling or frying, can be lowered.
Okra is a well-known nutritional ingredient in manifold cuisines, especially in African, Asian, as well as Southern American cooking. It is very versatile and nutritious.
