YDance is music for the soul

Hello 👋
There are many types of traditional dances in Africa. Many of them have means attached to them. Music brings people together and allows them connect with one another. In Uganda, we have more than 53 tribes and each has a different cultural aspects to it. People in many communities dance at different occasions namely: weddings, the birth of twins, the king's (who is called kabaka) coronation, welcoming visitors, even at burials (this is mainly done to strengthen the grieving ) and lots more.

Here are some pictures that show a dance called baksiimba. This is performed to welcome guests and entertainment.
