FDI into Pakistan slumps 51pc in September

As per World Bank's Doing Business Report Pakistan ranked 108 out of 190 countries. The previous year it ranked 28 positions down at 136 out of 190 countries. The uptick in ranking is mainly due to the improvement in the handling of construction permits and getting electricity. Yet, many other factors stand in the way of FDI into Pakistan and among them the challenging security environment sticks out the most.
