A life Connected to Christ

Therefore if there is any [a]consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. -Philippians 2:1-2

A VIVID REALITY

I like getting in touch with lots of my friend, relatives and of course you in our place of ---what we call it social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and our cell phones as well. Being connected to someone gives us a feeling of not alone. That’s why as much as possible we want to engage conversation to some people or someone on a daily basis.

Another reality about this so called “being connected” is the desire to be motivated, to be encouraged, to be strengthened and get more and learn more out of this life through them. But to tell you honestly, no person is capable of giving you a kind of connection that will allow you to experience the fullness of life.

If our life is to be connected then it must be linked to Christ. Because only he can give us a happy and abundant life.

What Paul said in verse one and two are no doubts an anticipation of contentment and satisfaction of a life genuinely connected to God through Christ Jesus.

A Christian life should be a connected life--life that is being united with our Lord Jesus Christ. If we want to get more out of this life, then we need to connect to the one who can give us new life.

Remember:

The result of our being united with Christ is an inner encouragement. By faith through grace God forgive our sins and promise us an everlasting life. Let us continue then to cherish and nurture such intimate connection that will help us build a life that is fully dependent upon Christ.
