Open Church: Easter special - What does the resurrection mean to you?
Happy Easter brothers and sisters! Thanks for joining this very special edition of Open Church.
Open Church is a weekly post that aims to be a place where Christians on Steem can hang out, encourage and build up one another, and reflect the love of Christ. The church is not a building, but is made up of people who have been transformed by God’s grace.

Today’s question is: What does the resurrection of Christ mean to you?
Personally, when all the evidence around the resurrection became too compelling for me, that was the moment I fully embraced the Christian faith. It was the single most important hinge that my faith rested upon, because when I grasped the resurrection, then everything else was easy for me to believe too. If God could raise Jesus from the dead, then of course every other miracle was possible too.

The resurrection is the sign that we have an all-powerful God who overcame death to give us eternal life and that if He overcame death, there is nothing that can against him. He is the owner of life and he who wants life in abundance will have it if accepts He as his only true savior.
