Women of the Bible... Who are You? - Part 3
In the last episode, I talked about Eve and I think we had one or two things to learn from her. Today, I will be talking about the mother of faith, a woman from which God blessed the generation of the whole earth.

Sarah - Genesis 16, 18, 21
Sarah was the wife of Abraham, a faithful, humbled wife who followed all the instructions of God giving to her husband without questioning him. She was submissive and even called her husband lord and do refer to God as the Lord of her lord. She was a protector to her husband by not letting others harm him for her.
She was blessed to have given birth to Isaac after many years of barrenness. She almost gave up and gave Hagar to her husband to bear children for her but God remembered and fulfilled his promise through her.
What to Learn from Serah
- She was humble to her husband and never questioned him even when he said they are moving out of a place they know to the unknown. As a woman, you should always trust your husband to make the right decision under the auction of God. Be submissive to him as to the church to the Lord.
- Sarah keep believing in God with her husband even though she almost gave up, she still remembers to care for the generation to come by giving Hagar to Abraham. She also protected her husband from harm.
Always look for the good of your husband in every situation. Think about his welfare physically, spiritually, financially, and emotionally, believing in God for all things without looking back. - Sarah always respect her husband (even calling him lord) so a Christian woman should always respect her husband no matter what the case may be.
You can always be a good helpmate you are to be for your husband in every way if you take Jesus Christ as your Saviour, Helper, Defender, and your Provider. Submit to your husband as to the Lord, respect, defend, and love him, it will count worthy for you. Let other women learn good values of being a virtues woman from you to the glory of God.
