Movie review || Must-watch movie || Coco
Hello everybody, hope you're all doing good. I'm fine too.
Today I want to give a complete movie review on Coco.
This is a delightful cartoon movie that most of us has watched, a fictional play of a Mexican family.
Coco review
Hector is a musician, and a professional one at that. He played his guitar very well and also, sings marvellously.
Long ago before he died, he left his family, his wife mama Imelda and his only child, Coco. He left to pursue his music career.
Living his family behind was the worst decision he to took. They hated everything about music and never wanted to talk about him anymore in the extended family.
Not everybody hated music in the family though, his great great grandson, Miguel is exceptional. He loves music and has followed everything about the greatest Mexican musician, Ernesto de la Cruz.
The zapateros(shoemakers) has nothing to do with music, but Miguel never listens to them. The has a secret place above their house where he practice music all the time.
To say the truth, they love music, all of them, but because they couldn't forget their great grandfather, Hector who left and never returned, they had to dislike everything that has to do with music.
Mama Coco(Hector and mama Imelda daughter) loves music too. She alone and Miguel believed that music is the key to reunite their family. They never gave up, Miguel pursued his passion.
They vocabulary in this movie is such a beautiful piece. They used the Spanish vocabulary which made everything interesting.
On the day for the El dia de los muertos, the day when families come together to celebrate and give to dead was the day Dante(a street dog, Miguel's best friend) dragged the piece of clothe that was used to serve food on the table for the dead members of the zapateros (shoemakers) family to come and feed on.
Miguel tried to stop the dog but unfortunately, he couldn't, and his great great grand parent picture fell down and and glass broke. He took the picture opened it and found out that a part of the picture was hidden behind.
The hidden part has Hector's hand and his guitar, the same one Ernesto de la Cruz was using before he died. He became curious, wanted to know more and decided to show his whole family. He told them that Ernesto de la Cruz, the greatest musician of all time was his great great grandfather because of the guitar he saw there...
This whole thing couldn't be certain because the head on the picture was not there, so very difficult to figure out who it was.
Unfortunately for him, his family members still couldn't recognize the man and also, destroyed all of Miguel's things. Miguel became furious and let the house.
He looked for a guitar to perform at the show at night but couldn't get one. So he decided to go and take the one from de le Cruz's tomb for the show.
This time around, something spiritual happened. Immediately he touched the guitar, became invisible. Nobody could see him.
He became afraid and went out shouting for help, but nobody could see nor hear him. In fact, he could pass through the body of a human and they wouldn't feel it.
Only Dante could see him. Though he saw a lot of spiritual things. He met his dead family members. They recognized him and decided to help him, all these in the land of the dead.
When they met mama Imelda for help, she asked him never to have anything to do with music, if he agrees, she will bring him back to normal. That was the only condition for him and he couldn't take it, do he ran away.
He was gradually turning to skeleton and had only little time frame before he would completely be a dead person, skeletal body.
He met Hector in the land of the dead and Hector agreed to help him if he would go back and put his picture in the land of the living, since pictures where the only figure that keeps most dead people from dying completely to the final death.
Miguel believed that Ernesto de la Cruz was his great great grandfather and he needed Hector to help him get to de la Cruz.
Hector promised and they finally got to Hector. But when Hector saw Ernesto de la Cruz, he began to question him why he killed him. Ernesto became shivering and ordered his security to throw both of them(Miguel and Hector) in a large pit.
Inside the pit, Miguel told Ernesto about his grandma, mama Coco and how she had waited long to see her Papa. Hector was shocked. Coco??
They entered a long conversation and Hector came to realize that Miguel was his great great grandson. They were happy and hugged each other.
Hector told Miguel how he had wanted to go back home but was poisoned by his music partner, Ernesto de la Cruz.
Miguel later reunite Hector and his wife, mama Imelda. He got there blessings and went back to life. He ran directly to his mama Coco and told her everything. She felt some strength and began to tell them all about her Papa, how he plays music for her before she go to bed.
This movie is truly a beautiful one which talks about passion. A beautiful piece for both children and adults.
