How are you all.Although a pandemic is currently taking place, I hope that all is well with the infinite mercy of the Creator.
Yesterday 12-02-2022 Friday I went to watch a football game. Now I am going to share with you a little experience of going there.
The place where the game was held is called Belaichandi Bus Terminal and the name of the field is "Monpura".The place is located 6 km north of Parbatipur town. Since I was going to watch the game, I had prepared in advance. Yesterday was Friday. After performing Jumu'ah prayers, I came home and had lunch. Then I started getting ready to go to watch the game.My elder brothers and I reserve a van together and go there in that van.
In half an hour we reached Monpura field. The whole field was surrounded by tin. Lots of people came to watch the game. There was a lot of crowd in front of the ticket counter and gate.
I stood in line for a while and bought a ticket.I went to watch the game one day before. The ticket price 20 Bangladeshi Taka that day. But today the ticket price is 30 Bangladeshi Taka. The reason is basically the final match today. And this is the reason why the price has been increased. Then I entered the field showing the ticket in front of the gate.
I was surprised to enter the field. Thousands of people have gathered there. The gathering of so many people in this Corona Pandemic is really surprising. There is not even a small space in the field. Crowds of people everywhere. Then in the midst of so many crowds we went to a corner of the field and stood.
The match was the final match. The two teams that participated in the final were Kushtia district team vs Chuadanga district team.One of the reasons for having so many people in the game was the foreign players playing for the two teams. Eight foreign players came to play for the two teams. Some of them were Nigerian and Guinean players.So many people came to watch the game of these foreign players.
The game started at 4 in the afternoon.As soon as the game started, the whole field became buzzing with the hustle and bustle of the spectators. The game continued in full swing. And they get the result of this good game in twenty minutes of the game. Kushtia district team's right wing forward Shaon scored a goal with a great volley. With this goal Kushtia district team went ahead 1-0. After that the game continued with attack and counter attack. The first half of the game ended with 1-0 goal.
After a break of 15 minutes the game started again. Chuadanga district team made several attacks in the second half. However, Chuadanga district team scored the second goal in the middle of the second half. Kushtia district team went ahead 2-0 with this goal. No more goals were scored till the last whistle was blown. So the game ended 2- 0 goals.
The prize money of the final match was 1 lakh Taka for the winning team and 60,000 Taka for the losing team.After the end of the game, the crowd increased. So I could not attend the prize distribution ceremony. So I left there to come home without delay.
