| Я люблю не только путешествовать, но и пересматривать фотографии из этих путешествий, вспоминая яркие впечатления. В 2014 году мы с друзьями побывали в Италии. Один день мы посвятили древнему прекрасному городу Сиене. | I love not only to travel, but also to review photographs from these trips, remembering vivid impressions. In 2014, my friends and I visited Italy. We devoted one day to the ancient beautiful city of Siena. |
| Конечно, первым делом к себе притягивает центральная площадь Сиены Пьяцца-дель-Кампо. | Of course, the first thing that attracts you is the central square of Siena, Piazza del Campo. |
| Архитектурная доминанта площади - Палаццо Пубблико с башней Торре дель Манджа. | The architectural dominant of the square is Palazzo Pubblico with the Torre del Mangia tower. |
| Конечно, все туристы, как и мы, первым делом приходят на эту площадь. Здесь можно и перекусить в многочисленных кафешках и отдохнуть. | Of course, all tourists, like us, first come to this square. Here you can have a snack in numerous cafes and relax. |
| Туристы присаживаются и просто на парапеты. А ещё садятся и даже ложаться прямо на мостовую. | Tourists just sit on the parapets. They also sit down and even lie down right on the pavement. |
| На этой фотографии есть и группа туристов на экскурсии, и несколько одиночек, которые прилегли отдохнуть, и сидящие на мостовой люди. | In this photo there is a group of tourists on an excursion, and several singles who lay down to rest, and people sitting on the pavement. |
| Для меня это был новый опыт. У нас в России не принято вот так сидеть где-то на тротуаре. Только испачкаешься и, в лучшем случае, у вас поинтересуются, всё ли в порядке со здоровьем. | It was a new experience for me. In Russia, it’s not customary to sit like this somewhere on the sidewalk. You’ll just get dirty and, at best, they’ll ask you if your health is okay. |
| Площадь неровная, поверхность снижается от краёв к центру. Ещё и поэтому сидеть довольно удобно. Мы с друзьями тоже присели на площади, перекусили взятыми с собой припасами, полюбовались древними зданиями. Немножко понаблюдали за другими туристами. | The area is uneven, the surface decreases from the edges to the center. This is also why it is quite comfortable to sit. My friends and I also sat down on the square, had a snack from the supplies we had taken with us, and admired the ancient buildings. We watched other tourists a little. |

Не в честь ли этого города один из оттенков коричневой краски называется сиеной? 🤔
Точно! В окрестностях Сиены эта краска и добывалась.
Собственно, и сама Сиена в основном в этих оттенках. :)
