Street Photography Challenge Week - 57 - Evening Kirov
I decided to enter the contest Street Photography Challenge Week - 57 | "📷Capture, Click, Compete!📷"| "📷Capture, Click, Compete!📷" by @theentertainer.

This year Mother Nature decided to give us a gift. She arranged for us to continue the summer for the fourth month. Today is September 16, and outside in the afternoon the temperature rises above +25 degrees. This is really summer weather, almost July weather. It is very pleasant to walk around the city on such warm evenings. By evening, the heat subsides and it is very comfortable to walk.
The city is preparing for the anniversary. The last week of preparation is underway. On September 21-22, there will be an official celebration of the 650th anniversary of the city.
By the way, I didn't say the name of the city. Kirov, Vyatka, Khlynov. In different years, he was called by different names and now there are once again disputes about the return of the Vyatka name.
This is Moskovskaya Street. Once, people used to drive along this street to Moscow. Now no one travels to the Capital using it anymore.
Back in 1986, I entered this building and applied for further studies. Then this institution was called the Kirov Polytechnic Institute. Now it is Vyatka State University. It was a long time ago. It is no longer possible to enter this building without a pass, times have changed.
Kirov Drama Theatre. There will be a lot of people in this square on Sunday. Holiday. Maybe even I will come with my wife for this holiday.
In the meantime, I'm just walking around and enjoying a wonderful evening.

The picture you took of Kirov is really beautiful and the best part of it is that you guys have the perfect weather for the upcoming 650th anniversary coming up in a week now.
I can imagine the crowd that will come out for the celebration on the street. We do parties like this in December period and it used to be vibrant with celebrations.
The Kirov theater also look like a good spot to experience the occasion with your wife and kids.

I see nice photos about the beautiful city of Kirov, lonely streets, a nice theater with good space to walk. The photographs convey nostalgia and tranquility to me. Thank you for sharing these beautiful places in Russia.

Initially, the city was called Vyatka as the river on which it stood. Then the name Khlynov appeared in official documents. This is the name of a small river flowing into the Vyatka. During the reign of Catherine the Great, the city began to be called Vyatka again.
On December 5, 1934, the city of Vyatka was renamed Kirov in honor of the famous revolutionary Sergei Mironovich Kirov, who was killed in the same year in the city of Leningrad. There are many names of cities in Russia with the name of this man, he was considered a rival of Stalin. After his murder, Stalinist terror began in the USSR, and repressions began.
After the collapse of the USSR, many cities in Russia got their old names, but Kirov never managed to get the old name.
What name do I want? I've always been in favor of a modern name. It seems to me that changing the name of the city will not change anything in it.
Interesting story, as you say, the name is the least important thing, the important thing is that it provides the best services for habitability, communication, transportation and recreation.

Siento un lugar de paz, tranquilidad, sosiego, encanto, romance y soledad.
En un lugar visualmente encantador, provoca estar allí, está en pleno verano y la ciudad se prepara para su 650 aniversario. A los locales les cuesta decidirse por el nombre ¡Ja! ¡Ja! ya van cuatro diferentes. La universidad está bien conservada y modenizada según apuntas era un politécnico. Es verdad, los tiempos han cambiado, nos volvemos cada vez más viejos.
El edificio de teatro se ve espectacular, es un lugar romántico y tienes razón serán muy buenas vacaciones en este lugar cerca del día festivo.
Las fotografías son importantes tanto como el texto, sería genial fotos más cerca de los edificios, me hubiese gustado saber un poco más de la calle dada la sugerencia de tu título que da algunas pistas, sería bueno una ubicación geográfica con coordenadas de google maps o con what3words

Estoy algo perdido y no sé si la calle 57 de Kirov me conduce al edificio de la Universidad y al Teatro. Tal vez puedas decirme más si hay una historia con la calle 57.

Yes, that's the way it is. The city is getting ready for bed. In the province, people go to bed early, even young people, because they need to go to school in the morning, to the institute at the lyceum.
Of course, I can give geolocation, but will it be interesting? I can tell you how I rode along this street in winter in a cold trolley bus from the student dormitory to the institute or how I walked in the summer. But will it be interesting?

у нас вчера вроде и осень настала, прохладно, облачно. А сегодня опять лето за окном))
у нас пока оетняя жара. июльская. только вечера прохладные и туманы в долине, к реке. Но я так и не поднялся на холм чтобы сфоткать такое утро.
у фотика рычаг диафрагмы не работает :( в ремонт не берут до октября.... провинция.
в последние дни тоже переменно.
А ты полностью мануальный объектив поставить можешь?
Например, Гелиос 44-2 через переходник на М42
наверное, нет. не доводилось.
у тебя объектив от камеры отсоединяется?
Что за камера и какой у неё тип байонета?
