Children are very dear to their parents, but I would say if the parents are strict to them it's actually they want to make their personality. They want to teach them the difference between right and wrong and do their well grooming.

If parents are strict they will be disciplined and obedient. This is the perfect advantage I completely agree with. If the strictness exceed, the child is facing a pressure and it cause him tension in life.
