Popularity is a state of being completely known to the outside world. To become well-known in a facet of life, I feel two things can help you attain that, one could be the "money factor" and the next one could be the achievement in a certain field like in the case of becoming the highest scorer in exams, the government will recognise you because academic excellence is greatly valued, you will be interviewed by different Television/radio broadcasting channels in the nation and your name will eventually spread across the nation and might be included in the world record if possible_as in the case of an external examination like JAMB in Nigeria.

There is a great aura in becoming popular, you can recommend someone and change his life, becoming famous is a very powerful tool in which one can be actively involved in a life-changing process. I have always wanted to become popular and don't know if that feeling persists in others, but there was a time when I felt like I could be like a popular Nigerian musician "REMA" which skyrocketed my songwriting skills and even moved me to open a youtube channel. At some point, after I began to be a very active user of the Steemit blockchain-based social media platform, I felt like I would just get recognised(get popular) and I have tried my best to follow @bossj23 to reach a good reputation. I really wanna get there, I just need a good phone with a better camera and by God's grace, I will achieve this.

🔵 What do you think, the way of becoming popular matters or not?

Becoming popular doesn't matter that much because of its pros and cons which will be discussed below, It could make more meaning if you are popular to a certain level than if you are too popular. Please, don't underestimate yourself because if you can't get a high score in external exams to become popular, you could be better by creating something new or even other achievements, just do what you know how to do best even if it is being the master of a ceremony and cracking a get deal of jokes.

There are a lot of things that make someone popular which is summarised in the sentence, "Being good in what you know how to do best". Creativity, innovation, and intelligence are what can make anyone famous not necessarily money because with this money will be easy to get.

One disadvantage of becoming popular is that your life is completely recorded, every mistake made will be so obvious, and you might not be able to showcase your true self because you are conditioned to please the masses or fans in the celeb. world. The advantage is that you are already a VIP and your security is sure, and your words will be so valuable, with this there is the power to transform anyone for the better.
