"Steemit Engagement Challenge | S14W1 | Do You Want to Become Popular?".

Hello steem for #blog4bloggers community and members, greetings to you all, I trust you all are doing great and had amazing day, I'm super happy to join this community and it's my pleasure to share my first post in this great community, hope I am welcome.

Do you want to become rich? A lot of people will happily answer yes because becoming popular is almost everyone dreams come true but I'm sure there's some people that will be brave enough to choose being average ahead of popular, dear friends journey with me as I share my little fact about being popular and the pros and cons of being popular, let's talk.

Going straight to the point, I don't want to become popular, I understand that majority of people seek to become popular and it's their desire because it enleash respect according to people but I personally don't view becoming popular that way, in my sense of humor, becoming popular comes with several negative consequences such as attack from robbery, it develop hatred among individuals and mostly promote bad side of pride, I just don't want to become popular.

Becoming popular is by choice and it's what majority of people crave for as I said earlier, in some cases becoming popular matters a lot to people because it add extra value and earn them respect, anyone who crave to become popular has their respectful reasons it might be as a source of earning respect or the other way round but trust me it matters to some people.

But in some cases becoming popular doesn't matter to some individuals as they do not provide space to such Habit, becoming popular comes with advantage also with disadvantage, the truth is this side of disadvantage is the most awful thing that people don't realize.

What I'm I trying to insinuate? Becoming rich or popular is what I don't advise our young youth Instead striving for minimum wealth to provide our daily bread is what youth should crave for, the bible says in (first timothy 6:10 ) For the love of money is a root of all sorts of injurious things, and by reaching out for this love some have been led astray from the faith and have stabbed themselves all over with many pains, you see the consequences of becoming popular, people stabbed themselves in the process

In most cases, having excessive money actually makes people popular, people like Dangote, Elon musk, Paris Hilton and the likes of them are post popular because of the money they actually acquired, money is one of the quality that makes people popular.

I think acting famous can make someone popular, we see famous musicians and content creator being popular around the globe, the likes of wiskid, davido, Sidney talker, sirbalo and the likes of them are popular celebrities we all know, these people are mostly popular because of their music and skit.

getting your desire.

One of the pros of becoming popular/ rich is archiving whatever life could ever want, I see popular people with clothes in different colours, cars of different catalogs, houses from different locations and the likes of it.

Knowing globally.

Popular people are well known globally, who don't know Dangote, wiskid, Michael Jackson, Elon musk, Davido and the likes of them, the old world is aware of these people as popular businessmen and musicians, these people's are big names in the world.

Attacks from robbery.

I've never seen a robbery going to a poor man's house in my life, popular people are always attacked from robbery and because of this popular people cannot live a free life, we always see popular people with big bodyguards isn't it?, so there's no peace of mind for popular people.

Lack of secrets.

Some months back, a celebrity by name Davido was all over social media because of a small misunderstanding with his wife, something that a common person would've solved without millions or hundred of people knowing, you can see that popular people lose their privacy at this point.

Becoming popular doesn't guarantee peace of mind as people think Instead it draws negative consequences, for instance popular people don't have the privilege to walk free in a street as an average person does for instance, Chief Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu the current president of Nigeria cannot dare to walk on street without bodyguard because he will be attack from enemies, can he?, as advice to everyone of us including me as well, becoming popular is the root of all injuries.
