THE EYE AND THE HEART TWO IMPRESSIVE ORGANS OF EFFECT ON THE HUMAN BEING

in HeartChurch3 years ago

The eyes play an important role in our body is like a lamp to our body as the Bible argues in the following verse:

Matthew 6:22
The light of the body is the eye; So if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.
(The New American Bible)

This is how your heart is, this is how your eyes look! we need God to be able to look at our neighbor with light and love because our eyes correctly synchronize with our heart.

However, the eye must be in a healthy condition to be able to produce a positive effect on the body and be light to the other organs of the body as well as the way of looking at the world around it.
There is a good saying that says that when the eye is clean, the result is vision so that you can see clearly clearly and your whole body will be full of light but if the opposite happens, limitations can occur that can lead you to darkness or some kind of disease.

In the same way, the Bible assures us that if our heart is clean it also has an impressive effect on us and that it is the greatest of all, because in this case I mean love.

Romans 13:10
Love does no harm to others. So love is the fulfillment of the law.

In this sense, for there to be love in our hearts, it must be clean because when the heart is clean, the result is love. There is nothing more beautiful, noble and impressive in the human being than love since, as the verse indicates, love does not harm others and life would be different if humanity could synchronize its eye with its heart when both are clean.

If the human being could experience this great feeling according to what is established in the word of God, our precept of life were very different and the current situation of the world would also be very contrary to what we currently live because it takes a lot of love and light that is to say many clean eyes and hearts

Romans 13: 9
Because the commandments that say: "Do not commit adultery," "Do not kill," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and all the other commandments, are summed up in this precept: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

In this sense, my message is a call for reflection about examining our eyes and hearts and asking ourselves how are we looking? What's in our eyes How do we look at the world? And how is our heart currently?

We are currently living in very adverse and distressing times and as a church or individually we must ask ourselves what is the call of God in allowing the church to live this situation? Does God want us to change our way of looking and heal our hearts?

I think it is important to reflect on this verse that applies to this time that we are living, because unfortunately many have disqualified it and put it to the ground, lending their ears to things that do not edify.

Jeremiah 6:16
Thus says the Lord: Stand in the ways, and behold, and ask for the old paths, what is the good way, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your soul. But they said: We will not walk.
(Reina Valera Gómez)

Obedience to God is a refreshment of hope for this and all times!

Don't forget we are apple of Gods eye, and as believers we must use this two important organs to serve him. Nice post @ricci01.
