Most people, historically speaking, have met Him through their imminent deaths, which actually could have occurred at any moment. We are all fully aware that we may meet our Creator at any moment due to our deaths. If we are 100% fully convinced that we do not know the day of our deaths and that our potential to meet Him is imminent due to that fact, Him possibly returning at any moment has no further convincing that it could add. It's ALREADY 100% true that we could meet Him at any moment, so to say "it's important to believe in the pre-trib rapture because it means that Jesus could be coming for us at any time" is actually illogical and without merit.

Also you quoted Matthew 24 as evidence of a pre-trib rapture? The coming mentioned in that passage takes place after certain specific chronological events. Please read that passage (yes, even the whole chapter) again and consider. Is the coming spoken of His return, or the pre-trib rapture?... It can't be both.
