TURNING YOUR REPROACH TO FAVOUR, DAUGHTERS OF ZELOPHEHAD EXAMPLE.

Reproach was meant to sound as a steady approach to victory until the two letter word – “Re” substituted itself with the first two letters of the word approach. It is the same two letter word “Re” that turned what was meant to sound to great into “Re-gret”. When you sound to stay in regret, reproach will rise as your bedmate. When you opt to approach your nagging situation with the truth of God’s Word, reproach will give way to victory and usher you into the paradise of bliss.

The daughters of Zelophehad had every right to remain in reproach, regretting over the awful situation they found themselves. Their case was a very pathetic one: their father had seven of them all daughters and he died having no son. His inheritance fizzled into the thin air like the case was with men who died having no son but daughters. Zelophehad’s case was compounded because he died in his own sins, which was enough reproach for his daughters, because sin is a reproach to any people. Instead of these women settling for a life of reproach, they stood to approach their situation and their reproach was turned into victory.

Their reason was logical as they approached Moses: “Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son?” Numbers 27:4. At that time, there was no law governing the case of a man who died having no sons but daughters. They were simply being logical and they turned out to be right. If those women could arise on the ground of a logical reason to turn their reproach to victory; why can’t you rise to approach your situation with the obvious truth of God’s Word? Reproach has never been known to survive when confronted with the truth of God’s Word. Your case will not be different.

I see your situation turning around by the authority of God’s Word.

That's ridiculous. You see my situation turning around by the authority of God's word? It's not the Old Testament anymore. The promises that God made to Israel don't apply to the church. Most of our blessings are spiritual in nature:

(Ephesians 1:3-13 NIV) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. {4} For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love {5} he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- {6} to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. {7} In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace {8} that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. {9} And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, {10} to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ. {11} In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, {12} in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. {13} And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
