HIS THOUGHTS DEFINES YOU!

As humans we have our own thoughts that defines us. Some people defines themselves with what they have accomplished. Some defines themselves with their past mistakes or failures and others defines themselves with what other people thinks of them. But it’s just so sad to hear about someone’s missing opportunity just because a fellow human defined them as not worthy of that opportunity due to their past mistakes or failures. Our lives are now defined by things that do not compare to our worthiness in Christ Jesus.

We often quote the bible verse that says we were created in the image and likeness of God, but yet still we forget to let this quote define who we are when we fall into diverse temptations or situations. I believe it’s high time we stand in the reality of who we are and who or what defines us. So in today’s piece I want to write to you and remind you of who you really are and what or who defines you despite what you have been through or what you have done in your past.

In today’s world I strongly believe knowing who you really are moves you from the captivity of bondage and insecurities. You have to understand that not only were you created in the image of God, but you are also everything His thoughts says you are. His thoughts for you are not the same thoughts people say about you or other people thinks of you. You are precious amazing uniquely and a never mistakenly created human being. Nobody is like you, you are worthy of everything God says you are. You are no mistake and what you did in your past never defines you as long as the precious blood of Jesus is still redeeming for you.

See, your value didn’t just come up to be your value. It came from that price tag(His Blood) Jesus bought you with. And this price tag will not depreciate because of your mistakes or whatever kind of past that came to rip off your joy away. Nothing you do can make you so powerful to the extend that it will erase God loves from your life. Maybe I should give you this evidence by typing this bible verse from Romans 8:38 to you

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God, that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
So yes you failed. I know Your past relationship was one hell of a mess. You have been to rehab for many times and we have even lost count of that now. When we get into your family line nobody has been known to be great or seen success, it’s all ok. Your life has turn into a bad omen, I’m still saying it’s alright. Where you have gotten to in life it’s like you don’t even have a name anymore, everybody that sees you calls you or recognize you with your past and I’m still saying it’s all ok because non of these things or human thoughts of who you are defines you. The only thoughts that truly defines who you are, are the thoughts of Christ Jesus and this is all I want you to get and understand from this piece.

The power of who you are and what defines you is not in the hands of any human. Neither is it in the hands of your past or your mistakes. Who you actually are, is all God says you are and nobody can erase that. So its either you rise up to this reality and proudly walk in His thoughts for you, or you sit down and allow these temporary life detours determine who you are.

Now let me leave you with this reminder of David’s story in the bible. The people of Israel saw David as a shepherd boy because David was a caretaker of sheep’s. All the people of Israel including his family saw him as such. So when David decided to fight Goliath they all doubted him. How can a little shepherd boy fight the giant Goliath? But David knew who he was and who defines him.

He knew the God he served and he also knew how the thoughts of his God makes His children do the impossible. So he shut his ears from all the negative thoughts of his brothers and the people of Israel, and had his mind only focused on Gods word. He went to the battle field with no mans thoughts of who he was but only Gods thoughts for his life, and surely and amazingly he defeated Goliath with just one sling shot.

So I bring this piece to an end with just one question for you to answer and think through, Had David dwell on the thoughts of His brothers and the people of Israel, would Goliath had been slayed?

I pray for you my dear reader that you will rise up to God’s s reality of who you are. It’s His blood that makes you whole, not these negative thoughts or your past, So Get Up And Come To The Winning Side.
