LEARN TO WORK AS A TEAM

"Two are better than one; because they have better pay for their work. Because if they fall, the one will raise his partner; but woe to the lonely! that when it falls, there will be no second to raise it. " Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10.
In a work team, everyone responds equally to the work, and each one is individually responsible for the function that it fulfills within the team. For this to happen there must be cohesion between the members. This encourages the commitment of each one to the whole, through the objectives that are intended to be achieved through coordinated actions and established guidelines.

Jesus Christ, I form a work team; when he called and chose his twelve disciples to be with him. And what was your goal? Prepare them to preach the gospel of the kingdom of GOD. And how did he do it? Jesus, he knew his objective purpose and shared his vision. Jesus managed to make them work together with a sense of permanence, belonging and with a commitment.
One way to make the team more productive is by shaping it into a small group of people, who are in direct contact with each other permanently. Once the objectives are established, these members can create subgroups of work to meet these objectives. The reason that a team is not so big is that, a greater number of people is more difficult to interact constructively, in addition very large teams have to face problems of decision making, disagreements among other similar factors.
Apart from the common goal and the right size, the teams must achieve an adequate mix of skills, that is, a series of skills and talents that complement each other and allow them to complete their tasks.

There are three steps to integrate a team.
First, it is important to determine what kind of tasks the team will perform. This will allow us to know who we should enroll in the team and what kind of skills we are looking for.
Second, what will be the composition of the team? This includes: Work style, personality, knowledge, etc.
Third, based on the above, determine the size of the equipment.
If you are part of a team or if you want to increase your productivity and that of those who collaborate with you, I present six points that will help you improve your team and get a better relationship.
• Do not try to motivate your team through guilt.
Emphasize the best of each person, people flourish with recognition, never succeed in motivating your team through guilt or constant criticism. If a team leader is always motivating through guilt, he will soon discover that he has run out of people who want to work with him.
There must be exhortation when things do not go well in a work team. Encouraging at all times and not discouraging. Every time you succeed in doing this, you increase the value of your team, no one enjoys life if it is charged with guilt.

Never try to control each other.
Many people like to control everything that is done and the people who do it, but exercising extreme control is usually counterproductive. It is there where the interrelation of team members is put into practice. There are tools which allow to have a healthy and permanent control of the activities of the team, which the leader must establish and make them known to vanish the desire to control each other.
• Encourage your team's vision.
When a team leader talks about a need, some respond. When a leader manages to communicate, convincingly, a vision of what should be, you can get people to join the project. Many times the team can begin to lose direction. This is not because they are lazy or discouraged, but perhaps because they have forgotten the reason for what they are doing. A vision injection will cure that problem.
• Replace competition for cooperation.
To build a team, you need to foster a cooperative spirit and not a competitive environment, beware of the stars, one of the factors that paralyzes any team is the presence of a member, who believes that it is impossible for the team to develop without their personal contribution. Every person in the team must understand that the scope of the projects dreamed is always the product of a collective effort.

Keep your accounts up to date
We must act quickly when a conflict occurs within our team. Unresolved problems are like cancer that, little by little, grows throughout the body and destroys it.
If the conflicts are not resolved quickly they will end up losing the team, many people flee from the conflicts because they are uncomfortable, we must be willing to moments of discomfort in the present, if we want to avoid wasting time and get upset in the future.
In the Bible The Apostle Paul exhorts the Ephesians to not let the sun go down on their anger (Eph 4: 26-27). That is to say not to let the conflicts that develop due to the activity or any mishap, go over the same day without being resolved.
• Share what you have ... and see how it multiplies! This is a spiritual law that really works. Whatever you need more energy, ideas, authority, whatever you have and want to increase, learn to share it with team members. Inevitably, he will receive more in return. Give credit to others. Remember that they are a team!

For some business leaders, the idea of ​​working as a team or worker synergy and productivity seems new, but in fact, it was mentioned earlier, some thousands of years ago, the Bible declares, as it refers to the principle of this writing. (Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10)
