The Judge

Psalms 75:7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

One of the attributes of the Almighty God is that He's the judge. It's worthy of note that His judgement can't be questioned by anybody because He's sovereign.

His judgment is governed by His righteousness and truth. He decides who to dethrone and who to enthrone. He's the lifter of the heads of those He chooses to elevate.

Don't be scared of how your tomorrow will be, for the Almighty God got you covered already. As He decides to lift you, nobody can bring you down.

The only qualification for God's lifting is humility(James 4:10). It's an established principle that God gives grace to the humble. No proud person has ever being lifted by God. This is so expedient that even Jesus had to be humble before He was lifted (Phillipians 2:8-9).

The simplest way to attract a putting down from God is to become proud. Pride is the most dangerous sin because it prevents the sinner from repentance. May you never become proud.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your lifting. Please deliver us from any form of pride that stood on our way before now. Help us to be humble you, let our lifting continue, in Jesus name. Amen.
