Renewal of Spirit
Isaiah 40:31; Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.
When we keep pushing and going about all the time we tend to get tired. Getting tired is a normal part of the daily routine, it is why rest is important rest helps us to renew ourselves and to get back lost energy. It also help us to focus better and get things done as the ought to. When we work tired we become sloppy, we miss things we should not miss, we make mistakes that we otherwise would not make and we sometimes end up causing more harm than good as we probably have wanted.
Much like our physical being our spiritual being also need renewal and whiles our spirit may not get tired and worn-out like the physical body, when we have been on a run or a roll for a long time we need to make time and allow our spirit to renew. It is the reason why revivals are important in the life of a Christian. Making time for our spirits is like devoting time for oneself to improve upon oneself in ability and skill to increase ones worth. When we make time for our spirits we are able to focus on God better and worship him as we ought to whiles working on our Spiritual gifts to edify the church and our fellowships.
A renewal of the spirit is important to our Christian life and we must make time for it accordingly.
