IF THEY HAD NOT BROUGHT HIM

Today text : Acts 3:2,4-7

[2][When] a certain man crippled from his birth was being carried along, who was laid each day at that gate of the temple [which is] called Beautiful, so that he might beg for charitable gifts from those who entered the temple.
[4]And Peter directed his gaze intently at him, and so did John, and said, Look at us!
[5]And [the man] paid attention to them, expecting that he was going to get something from them.
[6]But Peter said, Silver and gold (money) I do not have; but what I do have, that I give to you: in [the use of] the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!
[7]Then he took hold of the man's right hand with a firm grip and raised him up. And at once his feet and ankle bones became strong and steady,

In life, there are junctions of life that you will get to where you will require the support of those who believe in your dream. Beloved, those you surround yourself with in your moment of trial will determine whether you will survive it or not. I have seen not just few people who have died before their time because they were surrounded by wrong people. On this note I like to give kudos to those that brought the lame man and laid him daily at the gate of the temple which was called beautiful, to ask for alms from those who entered the temple. We were not told their relationship with the man but their dedication and consistency in performing this task was a major factor that gave the lame man supernatural healing. If they had not brought him on that day, he wouldn't have met Peter and John not to talk of encountering the power of god through them.

An utmost desire of the lame man has been laid in daily at the gate of the temple was to enter the temple with other people. He had been watching others go in and come out of the temple for so many years, but he couldn't because of his infirmity. Remember the Bible says in act 4:22 that the lame man was over 40 years. So you could imagine the number of years he had watched others did what he could not do. As an individual korma which area of your life are you incapable of doing things with your colleagues are already succeeding in. I speak this prophetically that the Lord will empower you to do what you could not do 4 years in the name of Jesus. Amen
