Hello steemians, I am very delighted to write my homework post for this week and also using this opportunity to say a very big thank you to prof @pelon53 his this wonderful lecture this week.

I will go straight to answering the questions asked in the homework task.

It is a token which is digital standard which was developed in 2018 by Enjin. It allows the creation of fungible, semi-fungible and non-fungible tokens in one single token standard on the Ethereum blockchain.
ERC-1155 combines both ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens making it a multi Token standard, which means both fungible and non-fungible tokens can be created within the same standard.

In simple words, ERC means Ethereum Requests for Comments. They are technical documents created for decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts in the Ethereum network to interact with each other in an easier, faster and more efficient way.

ERC-1155 has a special feature which allows to create all king of assets, ranging from real estate and currencies to gaming items and digital art. When minting new tokens ERC-1155 cuts gas fees by up to 90% and also allow user to trade, upgrade, rent, combine, and destroy their assets.
This token can also gain some modifications so as to posses characteristics of both ERC-20 and that of ERC-721 and perform same function but separately.

The fees involved for making transactions in ERC-1155 token is relatively lower than that of the others, this is as a result of multiple tokens of ERC-1155 been able to be sent in a sinlge transactions but with the other token type it isn't possible.
Moreover, smart contract in that of ERC-1155 is much better than those we have in ERC-20 and that of ERC-721. This is because, ERC-1155 has the ability to mange a whole lot of number of tokens.
This gives a detailed description of the ERC-1155 token.

QUESTION 2

HOW I CHECKED THE AMOUNT OF ERC-721 TOKENS EXISTING AT THE TIME I WAS DOING MY HOMEWORK.

There are steps involved in finding out the amount of a particular token existing at a particular time.

Step 1

Search for https://etherscan.io/ with the help of a search engine to open it.

Step 2

Click on Tokens which can be found at the top corner for a drop down menu to appear.

Step 3

Click on ERC-721 from the menu that appears.

Step 4
It can be seen below that a total number of 11,066 ERC-721 tokens were present as at the time I was doing my homework submission.

TRC20 TOKEN

This is a token type running on the Tron network. It is a token which is similar to that of ERC-20 because they perform the same functions.

Projects run on the ERC-20 can easily move to TRC-20, this is possible because both ERC-20 and TRC-20 use the same scrip code. An example of this token is the USDT-Tether. The fees involved in making of transactions on this token is very low which makes it a merit of it.
The transportation speed is also very fast and safe with this token type.

HOW TO CHECK THE NUMBER OF EXISTING TRC20 TOKENS

To find out the total number of tokens existing at the time of my homework task,

Step 1

we first visit the official website of
TronScan.

Step 2

select “Tokens”. A pop up menu appears showing information concerning TRC-20, TRC-10 and TRC-721 tokens.

Step 3

We select and click on "Token Tracker" to view the required information.

Step 4

select and click on TRC-20. This display the amount of TRC-20 tokens present at the moment. from the display, 15,874 tokens of TRC-20 was present when i was doing my homework.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, I have learned a lot about ERC-20 and ERC-721, which are used to create fungible and non-fungible respectively.
