Hello Everyone, so today I invite you all to read my today homework which I am going to make on Advanced course: Crypto Prices & Market Source - COINMARKETCAP.COM subject which is given by Professor @stream4u.

So let us continue with our homework.

1. What Is Coinmarketcap.com?

Coinmarketcap.com basically is the best Crypto information site or in other words, you can say it is the Wikipedia of cryptocurrencies where all the information regarding any crypto has been recorded and any person from anywhere can get access to that.

It is the world's most referred price tracking site of Crypto assets and it provides high quality and the most accurate information which can be price, charts, market cap, circulating supply, and other everything which are related to cryptocurrency.

And if we go on its little history so we can see that it was founded by Brandon Chez in May 2013, and since then it has got popularity because of its perfect timing and accuracy.

So other than that if we see on the top it also shows us the main points regarding the Crypto markets like:

3. Market Cap
4. Volume
5. Dominance
6. Ethereum Gas Fee

Crypto: There is 10,820 Cryptos register to this date.

Exchanges:There are 381 exchanges currently working worldwide.

Market Cap: The overall market cap of the whole Crypto world is $1,398,176,685,003 24h

Vol: The total volume of the current crypto market is $70,275,432,959. This includes all the crypto assets.

---

Dominance: It Shows that Bitcoin is currently dominating the market with BTC: 45.3%.

---

ETH: It also shows the current Ethereum gas price which is, 17.7% ETH Gas: 10 Gwei

2. How Coinmarketcap.com useful for Crypto User/Trader?

Everything which is useful to see for the Crypto users and traders is combined all together in one place called Coinmarketcap.com. Which consist of full market analysis, the market cap of any crypto, volume, diluted cap, charts, and every other detail which is needed for a crypto trader.

So we can get a detailed analysis of any of the crypto from Coinmarketcap.com

As you can see above I have highlighted some of the main functions which are useful for crypto traders, which are the:

Crypto: As on the left side we can see the cryptos, so we can click on any crypto of our choice on which we need to check or have to see its analysis, or we can also search that also.

Price: The second thing is the price as everyone should know the prices of any asset in which he/she is going to invest. In Coinmarketcap.com the prices got updated every 5 minutes and it has the most accuracy.

24 hour/7 day market: From this a trader can see the fluctuation of the market and can make his plan of entering into the market.

---

Market Cap: In Market capitalization, we can see the overall market capitalization of any asset and it is calculated by multiplying the current market price of a coin by the total number of coins that are in circulation.

---

Volume: by volume a trader can see that how much of the asset has been traded in the market in 24 hours.

---

Circulating Supply: By this a trader can see that what is the supply of any or current asset in which he wants to invest as the supply plays an important role in the asset price.

---

7 Day Chart: then there is a 7-day chart in which one can see that whats the current market situation as it is going up or down.

Portfolio: By portfolio one can put an eye on the assets they have purchased as many traders do trading on many exchanges and that put things a little complicated so in the portfolio, they put every asset they have purchased, and they can keep an eye on that from one place.

Watchlist: In watch list as many traders firstly watch any crypto before investing in them so by putting that asset in a watch list from there they can see that crypto anytime anywhere.

3. Explain the Individual Page for each Crypto Coin on CoinMarketCap.

So for this question, I have chosen Akropolis(Akro0 to show you all the individual pages for crypto coins. As currently, I have been into this crypto so that's why I choose that.

• Overview: So in the overview section we can see the Price of the market through the chart and as well it shows the market Cap chart and the trading view of the Crypto.

Market: The market option shows us that on which exchange or market that one crypto is listed, by the way, there are three types of market Spot, Perpetual, and Futures. And here we can see the AKRO pairs and shows us the depth, volume and liquidity as well.

Historical charts: As we can see from the name that this option shows the past information regarding the asset or crypto such as its high and low price.

---

And we can also set the date range in that.

---

---

Holders: It shows the total number of unique addresses which hold the current asset. As you can see that the total active holders of AKRO are 154 and the total addresses are 13656.

Wallets: This shows the wallet which is available on coinmarketcap.com for AKRO.

As here there are:

• Metamask
• Trust Wallet

---

News: It shows the latest news related to the Coin which I have selected.

---

---

Socials: In this option we can see the social media access of the coin we have selected by social media it;s like Twitter and Reddit. It shows what the coin management has posted regarding the coin recently.

Ratings: In this option we can see the rating of the asset which are made on user activity, Developer behavior, and market maturity.

---

Analysis: it shows the market token summer of the coin as if it is a good time to enter or not. it shows the market token summary and Actionable signals.

Price Estimates: In this option there are people who estimate the price of the current asset and there are always different estimates.

4. Explain in detail any 5, what are the CORE Features and Sub Features available on Coinmarketcap.com?

So the core feature and sub-features available on Coinmarketcap.com are:

• Cryptocurrencies: So yeah the most important feature of coinmarketcap.com is cryptocurrencies, in we can get the information regarding any crypto.

As it has also many sub-features so I am gonna tell you about some of them.

Ranking: So in this, it shows the market ranks of the cryptocurrencies it depends on the market capitalization of any asset.

Recently Added: In this sub-feature of Cryptocurrencies it shows the assets which are recently added to coinmarketcap.com. As you can see in the below screenshot

Legal Tender Countries: It is a very important Sub-feature and as it is recently added to Coinmarketcap.com, this shows the countries which have legal cryptocurrencies in their country.

Calendars: I personally have like this feature as it tells about the Free calenders and events which are happening related to cryptocurrencies.

5. How or when Coinmarketcap.com decides to list a Coin?

---

Listing a coin on coinmarketcap.com

---

So if we see in our daily life, like in whatever thing you have to list, like listing for an army, submitting your papers and any other thing there is always a criterion which one has to complete in order to get listed.

Coinmarketcap.com also sees that if the asset or any coin has fulfilled its criteria then they list the coin.

---

The criteria for listing into the coinmarket.com are:

Credibility: So they see if the coin is credible enough means is it have enough data and papers to get approved.

---

Verification: so in this they check the Proof of stake(POS) and proof of work(POW) of the coin and also the trading volume the consistency of the coin and the Asset's reliability and credibility.

As on the daily basis, coinmarketcap.com get request to add the data of or to list new coins but there is, of course, a criterion which I have explained to you above as if the guidelines weren't there the coinmarketcp.com weren't been that accurate.

6.How or when Coinmarketcap.com decides to list Exchange?

---

So as we have seen the listing of a coin on coinmarketcap.com, the process of listing exchange is also the same as listing a coin but there are some things that are different so these are stated below:

• To list an exchange application should be submitted to Add new exchange only and not anywhere else.

• Must publish the API data and the trading volume summary.

• The exchange must be in operation for almost 60 days.

• And must allow traders to buy and sell on the order book.

7. What is the purpose of the Uniswap feature on the Coinmarketcap.com site and how a trader can use it?

I know that all of you have heard of Uniswap, but still, I should tell you the main point is that it is a platform that allows the swapping of ERC20 tokens.

And now the good news is that now the option of Uniswap is now also available at coinmarketcap.com.

---

Let's use Uniswap on Coinmarketcap.com:

• So firstly we will go to the home page of coinmarketcap.com and there we will click on Swap which os showing the right bottom.

• Then there I will click on the connect wallet to connect my wallet with this Uniswap

---

---

• There I will click on Metamask as I only have an account in that wallet.

---

---

• Then the wallet will ask for permission so I will allow that.

---

---

• And then finally I will type the amount I want to swap as here I am showing the swap of ETH to USDT.

8. What is Blockchain Explorer? What Information available under Blockchain Explorer? How many Blockchain Explorer available on Coinmarketcap.com & How it helps users? If you are using any one of the Blockchain from the available list then show with the screenshot how you will use this feature?

As the Blockchain is a whole system where the transactions which are made in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency got recorded. As any transaction which is made is got recorded in a block and those multiple blocks made a whole blockchain.

---

So on a blockchain explorer allows users to get access to different details such as related to:

• Transactions on the specific wallet

• blockchains including amount transacted

*Status of Transactions

*Sources

*Destinations of Funds

• Size of blocks

• Hash rates

So currently on coinmarketcap.com there is 4 blockchains available which are:

• Bitcoin
• Ethereum
• Litecoin
• Binance coin

So now to demonstrate I have chosen Binance Coin (BNB).

---

• So just have clicked o that to see it.

---

---

In there it has 2 options which are Blocks and Transactions.

---

So in the block, it shows the Block height, the hash on which the clock is created, the hash ID, Date and time, and as well as the Transactions which are made on that.

And in the transactions option, it shows the Hash ID on which the block has been created, the fees which it has charged for the transaction, Date and Time, and the transactions types.

9. Conclusion

---

So now, in conclusion, I want to say that coinmarketcap.com is the site where all the information regarding every currency and exchange can be seen, like on a single platform to get this many things for free is impossible in this world but coinmarketcap.com has done it.

And even with all of that, it provides information up to date and also provides the full overview of any coin.

---

As well as it also provides features like swapping where you can exchange the coins and also the Blockchain Explorer as well.
