Hi friends, In today lecture I understand how the DEFI platform solving our issues and interacting with Dapps using those Platforms.

Thanks for giving such a wonderful lecture to us. I am so happy about taking part in this homework task from @yohan2on.

In today post, I talk about the Meta Mask Platform.

In my opinion, there are huge mobile users also there compare to web users but they don't know how to use Metamask on mobile.

I am also don't before about this platform but for 2 months I using it regularly, so now I get to experience it here.

In my today post, I give all details to set up our metamask account, at the same time though this how to interact with different Dapps through this without leaving our wallet.

About Metamask

Metamask is a plugin, using this we can access all Ethereum based Dapps very easily. Along with it can act as a wallet too. So here we can store ERC related tokens. It is one of the most popular and well know WEB 3 comfortable wallet also.

Through this, we can access Dapps, Defi, Uniswap, sushi swap and many more just by connecting our wallet to it.

How To Set up Metamask In Our Mobile

For this first, we need to install the metamask app on our mobile.

So just go Playstore search Metamask or install through this link

Just install it. Now open the app. You get like this screen.

Now click GET STARTED tab

Now it asked to create a new account or Import your account through the phrase.

Now we are new users so click ** creates new account** tab.

Now you get this screen

Now it asking set a password for a new wallet. Just enter your password which you wish.

After setting your password now click the create password tab.

Then after you get this screen. Here In this setting, it gives one seed phrase we need to hold for further needs. So keep safe this phrase. If you lose not possible to recover your wallet at any cost.

Now click start tab. Before start, it asks you to give your wallet password. Just enter your password and select CONFIRM TAB.

Now you get this type of screen.

This is a seed phrase, so write down the paper first then click the continue tab.

Now it asks to re-enter our seed phrase in order. Just type those then click complete Backup

Now we create Metamask wallet successfully.

On following my steps any mobile user also creates a Metamask wallet on our Mobile too. In mobile also this platform working smooth, so no worries.

How To receive and Send Funds To Metamask

Now our Metamask wallet is ready but for doing swaps or Trafing here first we need ETH in our wallet. Otherwise not possible to do trading here.

Now I tell you how to receive our ETH to Metamask from Other wallets.

For this just go to your Metamask. Now click on ETH, Now you get this screen.

Now select on the Receive tab.

It gives our ETH wallet address, Just copy that address, then goes to your other wallet, where you holding your ETH.

There on giving this wallet address we can withdrawal our founds to Metamask easily.

Like that we send ETH to our Metamask wallet.

Now I tell how we send META MASK wallet ETH to other exchanges.

For this just go to your wallet, Then Select ETH, here it showing RECEIVE and SEND options.

Here select the Send Tab now you get this screen.

Just enter the address of the wallet which you need to send.

Then click the next tab, now it asks you how much you send. After enters just click next, then finish your transaction.

Like that we can send and receive ETH from other wallets too.

But just check that recipient address also in ERC 20 network, otherwise, we lose our funds. So before founds Transfer much check it's Network too.

How To Add coins To Metamask

A lot of members think Metamask For professional traders only not for beginners. But it's not true, anyone access very easily. Before using this platform just learns basics before start it's enough. Like how to add coins, how to interact with Dapps.

For adding coin, just go to your Metamask wallet.

In down it showing +Add Tokens, just click it.

Now you get like this window.

In the search box just type a name of a coin, you get, otherwise on adding a coin contract address also get that coin in our wallet.

For Example here, I adding USDT, so I just type the name, here I get like this.

Just selecting USDT, I add to my account simply. Now click on ADD TOKEN, that's it added successfully.

Now that coin visible like this in our wallet.

Like that, we can add any token which you need.

How To Interact with Dapps:-

For beginners they getting fear interacting with Dapps through Metamask. But on learning or is not a difficult process like how we do trading in Exchanges here also we can do very easily.

Now I tell you how to interact with Uniswap through Metamask.

For this go to your Metamask, then click on their line symbol in the left corner of your wallet.

You get like this window, here select BrowserTab.

In the search bar just search Uniswap

Now it asks to connect to the site. Just click connect tab.

After connecting you get like this window. Here you can see how much ETH, you having and your ETH wallet address. The only issue is the high gas fee besides this no issues we get here.

Here we can swap any coin to any coin easily those are having liquidity in uniswap.

For Example, if I wish to swap USDT to ETH, just set coins like this.

If you need a vice verse just click the arrow symbol it converts to a vice verse easily.

Here no need to enter coin names again, just click the arrow we can change those easily.

After the swap finish, those coins reflect our Metamask wallet automatically. So no need to add those coin to our account. But it takes a few minutes to add.

Like that, we can interact with any Decentralized finance, Decentralized exchanges, and many more without leaving our wallet through Metamask very easily.

What Advantages we get from Metamask

• Very User-friendly interface. Easy to use.

• Through this, we can connect Different Dapps without leaving our wallet.

• No need to handle multiple keys for each network. One key is enough for handling multiple Networks.

• Through this, we can do transactions very easily.

What Disadvantages we having In Metamask Platform.

• In Metamask it stores our private keys in its Browser for doing transaction. It is not safe that's much. Possible for the hacking of our account.

• On mobile on opening it taking a little bit of time, some times getting struck too.

Apart from this remaining all working nice here.

Conclusion:-

After coming Decentralized finance in Metamask, using Dapps becomes increase, now all most all trader easily buying NFTs too through this.

Because here we get full rights to access our wallet. We can do our trades when we needed, from any place. Just need network connection having device only, no need any other things.
