Greetings to you all. Today I'm here to discussed my Homework task that was given by professor @levycore on the topic: "An Introduction to Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)." In this my discussion will be focused on the topic below:
Describe one popular project that uses NFT
Before describing one of the popular project that uses NFT , it will be better for we to have a brief understanding on what NFT stands for.
NFTs simple stand for Non Fungible Tokens, that cannot be replaced with other tokens because of how unique they are. One of the popular project that uses NFT is Cryptopunks.
Cryptopunks
Cryptopunks was launched in June 2017 as number one "Non-Fungible Token" (NFT) projects. Cryptopunks was developed by Studio Larva Labs, in American which consists of John Watkinson and Matt Hall. Experts in the blockchain technology see cryptopunks as a project that inspired the ERC-721 standard for NFT and modern crypto art. Cryptopunks projects allows it's users to trade and store 10,000 unique cryptopunks uniquely which are generated digitally uncommon through the use of Ethereum blockchain. The project also help in providing art ownership that can be transferred easily between users, by creating a decentralized digital art and collectibles.
Although each of the 10,000 unique cryptopkuns was generated algorithmically through computer code as a result of this no two characters can be the same, nevertheless some characters are more scares than other characters. Some were originally released for free and can be claimed by anyone using Ethereum wallet. They have never be more than 10,000 unique cryptopkuns that has being generated so far.

Cryptopkuns has only 10,000 unique cryptopkuns, that are made digitally uncommon through the use of Ethereum blockchain. The scarcity of certain traits and type of characters is enhanced with the collectible appeal of cryptopunks which are almost humans. Although there are three types that are listed below:
- Ape 24
- Zombie 88
- Alien 9
These are the three special types of cryptopunks games.
Conclusion
Cryptopkuns have so far gained momentum from the blockchain art movement to become the number one establishment. As at may 2018, a cryptopkuns was sold for $950 during an art auction at the Brooklyn Ethereal summit. Also as of July, the second Developer Hall spoke at the "Exploring Blockchain" in London.
