in SteemitCryptoAcademy3 years ago

Hello guys today I am going to participate in this week's lecture by our respected professor @yousafharoonkhan. The lecture basically speaks about the Steemit Decentralized social media, Centralization and decentralization social media

Without any further wait, I'll start by answering the questions

QUESTION #1

Write the definition of Decentralized and Centralized Social Media Platforms in your own words.Explain in your own words the difference between decentralization and centralization Social Media Platforms (answer should related Social Media Platforms . (answer must be written in oun words, copy paste or from other source copy will be not accepted)

A centralized social media basically means you're a puppet. A cirus lion which dances on the fingertips of his master. Now what does this mean? I'll explain. Centralized social medias are controller by one single party. There's only one authority in command. It could be one person, one family or any single unit. You have no assurity of the safety of your accounts. It could get blocked,it could get hacked easily. On centralized social medias you're not completely free to raise your voice or give your own opinions. We are restricted by the guidelines provided by the authority in charge. The biggest example of centralized social media is Facebook
Now I will give you a perfect example of the restrictions on centralized social medias. Recently the Ex prime minister of USA was blocked from facebook. This shows no matter who you are, your account is always controlled by another party

Decentralized social media on the other hand provides you total freedom. You are free to express your views on this social media without the fear of getting banned and blocked. This type of social media is not controlled by a sole authority. The control is with the users.

Below are some differences between centralized and decentralized social medias

QUESTION #2

Which One is The Future of Social media ? Decentralized or centralized Social media.(answer must be written in own words)

This is easy to tell. In my opinion, Decentralized social media is clearly the future. Why do I say this? Because centralized social media does not reward you. I have been managing a group on facebood with over 200 thousand members on it and yet it hasn't earned me a penny yet.
Whereas on steem, which is a decentralized social media platform, it has indeed rewarded me in a very short period of time. People have got used to centralized becuase it came first. But once you go the decentralized way, for example, steemit. Theres no going back.

QUESTION #3

How steemit decentralization social media is best than Twitter and Facebook.(answer must be written in own words)
Honestly, the most peaceful thing you can talk about steemit is that you've no fear of getting your account hacked. Because you have different keys for everything here. The security is top notch. Other than that, this platform is very rewarding. You do not earn from posting on Facebook and twitter.

QUESTION #4

What do you say? How do Steemit social media change the lives of millions of its users?(answer must be written in own words)

Although I haven't spent much time on Steemit as I recently joined but I have seen my life changing slowly but it definitely is. It gives me immense motivation when your hardwork is rewarded. And that is what basically is happening here on steemit. We get rewards for our hard work. I feel proud whenever I get a reward. So in the same way millions of people worldwide are getting benefits from steemit on their hardwork

QUESTION #5

How can we make money with Steemit's decentralized social media.(write your own experience)

This is easy for some and hard for others. But one thing is for sure. If you're committed, if you really really want it. You'll eventually get it.
For making money on steemit, you need to post top quality content, so you get big votes. Other than that you can also get money by voting on other people's post or by delegating steem power, so that in return you get steem.
