These external authority could be the founder and his team who seeks to regulate the affairs of the social media. Example of such social media platform are Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and etc.

• Your account can be blocked when you do not comply by the rules and regulations binding your usage of the platform without any permission from the user. Some of them, needs some form of payment to be able to register or subscribe. Deletion and blocking of account is easily done. Some of them too, if you don't belong to certain category of people or within certain countries, you are not allowed to register.

Decentralized social media allows the user the freedom to express his ideas and business without any external powers opposition. Registration is done for free and account blockage is not allowed. Here you have absolute freedom to your account and full authority to build your account and establish any business with your account. Steemit is the real example we can refer to as a example of decentralized social media.

The differences between centralized and decentralized social media is that, decentralized social media allows for freedom without any external authority involvement while centralized social media do not allow absolute freedom by members. It is controlled by external authority.
Decentralized social media do not block accounts but centralized social media platforms block account of members.
Also centralized social media sometimes demands some form of payment to be able to register or subscribe but decentralized social media charges no fee to be able to register.

Looking at these two social media platforms, I strongly believe decentralized system is the best among the two. Most people want to freely express and share thoughts on issues without any restrictions. People want to fit in a place where everyone feels they are somewhat equal in terms of views and status on the platform. On steemit though there are people with higher reputation but they still get time to read to read post and acknowledge newcomers and support them to grow but other sites is not like that. So putting all these things together, I believe decentralized social media platform holds the key to the future of social media.

Steemit decentralized social media is better than Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in the sense that, it allows users more control and autonomy in their dealings on the platform. What you say or do is not monitored by the founder and his/her working team. Decentralized social media also makes up a collection of interconnected servers used for blogging and etc on the network. Messages can be sent a cross other networks but with the centralized system, it's is not done.

Login to steemit and click on wallet as shown in screenshot

Click on communities and creation of community will pop up as shown in screenshot

select community name, then write community descriptions

Step 4:
After click Next button , you have to save community password keys , it is very much important step

Step 5:
here pay is 3 steem cost , that admin will pay,if you are ready to pay 3 steem then click OK

Step 6:
