Firstly what are NFTs?
NFT, is simply an abbreviation for Non-Fungible Token , is a digital asset centered on a cryptocurrency blockchain that represents a real physical asset. Tokens such as these are categorized under non-fungible because they cannot be exchanged for a different or some what similar token, regardless of whether they are equal in monetary value. NFTs are like this because each non-fungible token contains a special distinct feature and data that separates every single one of them from one another.

NFTs, can be utilized in different fields as a digital representation of real assets. They can represent artwork pieces, collectible items in games, real estate, and several other things. Important use cases among individuals and firms because they remove any form of third party interference from the industries and directly connect the people selling the tokens to the people buying the tokens that cant be exchanged have been developed for the Non Fungible Tokens . This in turn makes the transactions highly efficient as well as removing the likelihood of any incidence of fraud.

One of the fields under the influence of non-fungible tokens is the video game industry. Unlike the conventional video games where players spend countless hours accomplishing objectives and earning points, as well as collectibles with no real-life value, NFT based games, bring in an innovative style of operation by granting players the opportunity to now earn while playing the respective NFT games through the tokenization of the virtual assets, game characters, and collectibles in the video game.

It must, however, be noted that for the creation and implementation of the non-fungible tokens to be realized, smart contracts would have to be used to design the rules and regulations surrounding the utilization of the tokens. One of the major advantages of NFTs offer in their video games is that players actually have sole ownership and management over their in-game virtual assets like characters and collectibles. In the traditional gaming system, earned digital assets can only be seen in the games- nothing else. There is therefore no special way of recognizing the players attached to these achievements and hence they can be lost if for instance the video game is shut down by the developers. but in the case NFT based games, earned assets are sent to one’s crypto wallet and stay there no matter how abrupt the issue. Owners can also choose to trade them for physical cash if they please because it is their property.

Another advantage is that NFT games is their ability to function on the blockchain. This in turn gives a high form of security to these digital assets as they have a distinct feature of immutability as well as absolute transparency. Every thing on the blockchain can be verified, traced and authenticated by every user, and no information of a user’s possession of an asset can be altered for any wicked purposes. Ownership of the asset is only transferred when the owner of the asset sells it to someone else. fraudulent activities can be avoided because due to the uniqueness of the assets which can be readily verified by the public

NFT gaming also offers a very innovative means of earning money and a new form of investment. for instance in the case the pandemic, where most people have lost their jobs and are in search of new and alternative ways of earning to meet ends meat. The conventional gaming system is unattractive in comparison to many individuals because of its heavily centralized nature. There have been incidents of other players gaining advantages over others through cheating and other means of coercion. Also, the amount of money given to players is sometimes questionable as players usually feel entitled to more than what they were given. Hence, the advent of NFT based games provide a trusted and transparent source of income as well as a way of investment to people. Statistics even have it that it is quite popular in developing countries, and it is helping alleviate poverty in some nations.

DISADVANTAGES OF NFT GAMES

Players can lose their Non-fungible tokens in several ways. Some of which include scams or the transfer of tokens to the wrong address. When NFTs are sent to wallet addresses that do not support the standard of that particular non-fungible token, the user loses all access to that token. Also, fraudulent individuals can pose as buyers and scam players of their digital assets. Moreover, a user can lose an asset to the rules and regulations of the video game.

Because Non Fungible Tokens are based on blockchain, they usually depend on the computing power of devices to mint the NFTs and make records of the assets on the network or blockchain. Most cryptocurrency blockchains have been known for their high power-consuming nature and their adverse effects on the environment. Hence, the emergence and integration of NFTs raise critical concern over their sustainability and repercussions on the environment.

Also the fact that Non-fungible token-based games are based considerably on speculation is a big disadvantage in my book. And due to this, investors are usually placed in dilemmas concerning their entry into the market because it is troublesome to tell if the market can be sustained in the long run or is most likely a disaster waiting to happen

The development team of Mist preferred to stay anonymous due to security reasons, but the main team lead who is called Scythe, according to the official website of Mist, has a rich background in game development. Mist is an NFT game that is based on the Binance Smart Chain blockchain, and it has the reputation of being the first Role Playing Game on the BSC blockchain. The game also features a token called the MIST token. The Mist game, in a way, is primarily centered on three basic ideas: Staking native Mint tokens, Farming, and Non-Fungible Tokens.

Also, there are other platforms that are not native to the game but also allow transactions involving the exchanging of such NFTs. How to invest in Dragonary

If we want to invest in the game, we must firstly get the Game token, in this case it is the Coinary CYT.
For this we need to install the Metamask Wallet on Our Computer or Mobile device. Securing our keys is very important.
Once we have our wallet we can acquire the CYT in the Callisto network and in the Binance Smart Chain.
I will explain how to buy them using BNB.

Metamask Wallet Installation

This wallet is highly recommended to be used in this NFT ecosystem.
We can download it on chrome
And we select Install Metamask for Chrome.
We will click add to Chrome
It will download the extension.
At the end of the download a dialog box will appear.
We will click on Add extension
And this will be added in Chrome.

Ready, let's configure it.

We click on the wallet icon,
On the Welcome page we select * start
It will show us two options:

• Import if we have a Metamask wallet
  -Create Portfolio

As we are going to create one we will click on Create Portfolio
We will accept privacy policies.
And we will configure our password. And we will click create
This part is very important, we will show our seed or recovery phrase and we will store it in a safe place. Preferably offline.
And in this way we have created our Metamask wallet.
We are going to click on the wallet that is installed as a Chrome plug-in and we will click on the arrow where it shows us the current Network in the wallet.
It will display a list of available networks. There you must click on Custom RPC .
Here we will complete the required information:

Network name: Smart Chain
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
ChainID: 56
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com

In this way we can receive BNB in our Metamask wallet.
Add the CYT Token Contract
Once the Smart Chain Network is selected, we are going to select to add Token.

Here we are going to place the token contract on the Binance Smart Chain network.

Contract: 0x2d0cd9A25454AAeD1765a28B66B7F26B5cC9C2F8

Symbol: CYT

And we click next.

Let's be careful when looking for a contract, try to make it from official sites.
As you can see, I already have the Token added.
It is preferable to add the contract before making the change, they can be scared when they do not see them in the wallet
The CYT token is available on the Apeswap DEX .
We are going to Login and Connect with our Metamask wallet. However, you may notice the list of wallets that this Dex can connect to.
You will lose them confirming the connection. We click connect

Once our wallet is linked, we can make the change from BNB to CYT.
It will automatically show us the available BNB balance and we will choose the amount we need to buy.
We click on Swap.
It will show us the amount that I am going to receive and the operating costs and we click on confirm if we agree.
The transaction must be confirmed by confirming from the wallet, clicking on confirm .
And the CYTs will arrive in our Metamask Wallet.

Send CYT Token to Dragonary
We will register on the main page of the game, it will redirect us to hub.coinary , where we will log in with the account of google, facebook, among others.
Once we have entered, it is necessary that you also download Google authorities on your mobile device since 2FA authentication is needed to transfer the tokens.
In the balance option we can find our address.
We will copy it and go to Metamsk to transfer CYT.
We will select the CYT Token and click on send . We send the minimum amount to transfer to the game, in this case 5 CYT.
We click next
We confirm the transaction and the CYTs will be available in the hub.
We will continue to deposit the CYTs in the game. For this we will click on Deposit
We enter the amount to transfer, the minimum is 5.
We open our Google Authorities application and enter the code to validate the operation.

Note:
In the security option we will find the QR to scan with the google application.
And in this way we will already have our CYT in Dragonary

I want to thank Professor @imagen for such an educative lecture. This lesson really gave me an understanding of NFT and the different ways it can be integrated. NFT games do have the potential to uproot the traditional e-sports gaming industry; though it is worthy to note that its still in its infancy stage which is interesting because its already showing much promise. I personally believe that over time, there will be more developments to address its shortcomings and give it more potential. I believe there will be a significant growth in the use of NFTs.
