The Diary Game - Betterlife [10 May 2021] Peek a Hustle Bustle at the end of Ramadhan

Filling in the 3rd diary game organized by Steem SEA, I will write a story about, The Hustle and bustle of the End of the Month of Ramadan in Lhokseumawe City, Aceh

Entering the final episode of Ramadan, people in almost all corners of the region, especially in our city are always busy with various activity and problems. I don't know! Maybe there are many of problems there that always arise when the month of Ramadan is ending.

The Islamic Center Mosque in Lhokseumawe City is one of the largest mosques in Aceh, and is one of the places for the Eid prayer.

I do not know! But, many activities that always appear when the month of Ramadan is only a few days away. In our place, there are customs and cultures which are things that are commonly done by most of the people there, such as: Making several types of cakes or bread, visit at clothing shops to buy new clothes for to welcome Eid, tidying / cleaning houses, paying Zakat Al-Fitr and buying meat the cows at Meugang Day..

The making cakes to welcome Eid is also one of the cultures of the people to celebrate the victory day of Muslims.

Buying clothes and Paying zakat fitrah
Almost the same as the meaning of the tradition of making cakes. The tradition of buying new clothes for Eid has its own history in Indonesia since 50 years ago.

The majority of Muslims in Indonesia live very closely with Islamic nuances, so new clothes are meant to celebrate the coming of Eid and al-Adha. This is written in the Indonesian history book by Marwati Djoened Poesponegoro.

Implementation of Meugang Day
Meugang Day is a tradition of eating meat, which is held before Ramadan and before Lebaran, is a sacred culture that cannot be abandoned, especially for the people of Aceh Province.

Silaturrahmi and mutual forgiveness between fellow
Apart from some of the tradition we mentioned above, there are activities that are more important and these are not traditions, but rather guidelines recommended in Islam, namely silaturrahmi and mutual forgiveness between fellow Muslims which is carried out before Eid.
