The Crew 2 Full Review - Open World and Racing

in INVEN Gaming4 years ago

Have you ever tried boat racing?
Or racing aircraft or bikes and motorcycles?
This is what the game will offer us so read and judge

And still with the review of some new car games other than Forza Horzin and NSF and with the entry of many games arena I wanted to highlight them especially that I love car games and I find very great fun in them.

Today we have The Crew game where we saw the first part in 2014 and after the disappearance of years the game came back to us with a second part that is much more realistic and much better after adding many developments especially on graphics and this is what we will get to know during that publication.

The Crew 2

Usually it is not fair to compare games and some of them, especially as the physical differences and differences in the spatial levels, as well as the orientation of each game. Each game focuses on a specific thing in which you find its own strength point, but with a large period between the first and second part we were hoping to find a great game.
So how did the game evolve from the first part with regards to the map and the places available on it, unfortunately we did not notice much development especially that the game included the map of the United States and some cities in it
But in this part, the situation remained unchanged, and we did not see anything new regarding the map, so the areas and places where you are allowed to drive remained, and everything did not change.
If we come to another point, what about the details, unfortunately, the details inside the map, despite the fact that they remained almost outside as they were, and there were no changes in them either? Much of the first part, the graphics for cars declined and the game became more crowded when you play in the open world and the car drives smoothly. In races, the virtual cars disappear completely.
As for races, the design of races itself is very repetitive and makes you feel bored if why they did not think about adding some stages and modifying the playing system. For example, in terms of races, you will feel that everything is repeated in terms of turns, roads, and everything and you feel that you are spinning in a closed circle. So it is not a game that you play for a long time, but you will feel bored quickly.

Graphic

The graphics in the game do not have much criticism and I personally see that for the graphics the game did its best
But we move to another point, which is performance. The performance in the game was the best that is said to be below average, as you will suffer a lot from Lag
And a lot of dynamism is completely disordered while driving.
Which will make you feel that you are facing a very fragile and weak game engine that does not amount to a game from a large company the size of Ubisoft

Features

We talked a lot about development defects in the second part about the first part, but did the game introduce new or is it only full of defects I tell you no
The game also kept introducing something new that is distinguished by its super diversity in cars and races. We have aircraft races, boat races, car races, as well as bikes and motorcycles.
All this great variety is what attracted me to the game and what made me play it.
But some people see that all this diversity is the cause of distraction and instead of focusing efforts on developing the race of cars, but I think that this diversity is what attracted a large category to the game as the developer relied on the open world instead of making one big city to produce large cities and vast areas without any real goal .
The game also provided good graphics to some extent in terms of the race track, cars, etc., especially as it combines many cities, and the presence of this graphic with a map of this size places a positive point in this work submitted to us.

Defects

Technical problems, the first of which is the jumps for cars especially after any high jump and with a touch of the ground again the game freezes for a simple annoying moment and also the problem of artificial intelligence was present where car movements were unrealistic
Also, the problems with the network and trying to play with others was another problem.
What are the shocks that do not cause any damage to your cars, whatever it is, where you will look as if your car is armored and only exposed to minor scratches.
The game also comes with no support for team play which has become a feature of any car game now and developers are always looking.
Buying new cars is very expensive and needs a lot of the game and a lot of money that you will get, and many will have to go for an easier way to get them, which is buying currencies for real money, which opens the door for payment for victory.

So after all this, what does the game need?

The game needs to adjust the dynamics of cars and add a more realistic simulation of reality in terms of shocks and curves as well as a drift.
The game needs to focus on something specific or to gather all its efforts and focus on the open world and races in equal measure and this will need more capabilities and more work.
In fact, we have open world games, we have racing games, and no player in the world is looking for a game that combines the two.

Did Ubisoft enter the wrong field, and will updating the game cause any difference, for example, by adding the stages of team play
Heard for criticism is the key to developing any game if Ubisoft would surprise us by making a third part devoid of all of those criticisms We all hope so.
