What are the best-selling PlayStation 4 exclusives in the US?

This generation, Sony Interactive Entertainment has launched several PlayStation 4 exclusives that have been well received by critics and fans alike. While several of them are considered commercial hits, many have wondered which ones have been the most appealing to the public. Fortunately, we now have an answer, at least for the US market.

The thing is that Mat Piscatella, an analyst who is part of the NPD Group, shared the list of the top 5 best-selling PlayStation 4 exclusives in the United States. His count takes into account the sales that have taken place since the launch of the console until today and are organized by the revenue generated in dollars.

So who's at the top of the list? As you can imagine it is Marvel's Spider-Man, a game from Insomniac Games that is based on one of the most recognized and loved superheroes in the entertainment industry.

On the other hand, the second place is occupied by God of War, a project of Santa Monica Studios that was acclaimed by critics and players. One step further down is Horizon: Zero Dawn, the ambitious offering from Guerrilla Games.

One thing that stands out is that The Last of Us: Part II, a game that only debuted last month, is in fourth place on the list. As such, it managed to beat games like Uncharted 4: A Thief's End; Gran Turismo Sport, and Bloodborne in a very short time.

The last place on the list is Final Fantasy VII: Remake, a game that is not really exclusive to PlayStation 4. Remember that the JRPG was distributed by Square Enix, not Sony Interactive Entertainment and that next year we will be able to see it on other consoles and on PC.
