As in the first week of this contest we can attend twice so here is my 1st entry for the 2nd week.
NAME: BEGUM ROKEYA
Begum Rokeya is a proud of Bangladesh and if today I'm writing this article in English it somehow just because of her contribution. How? Now let me tell you that how! Once upon a time #Bangladesh was not as developed as today, at the age of Begum Rokeya education for women was almost impossible. Illiterate society doesn't allow girls to go to school as most of the parents were uneducated and at the same time they were over concerned for their girl's security. Girls often become the victim of rape and physical harassments so it was normal for those unlearned people that they was against female education. Begum Rokeya was the pioneer of female education or women's rights
So today if I'm writing this content in English on #steemit, it's her contribution. It was his elder brother who helped her studying at midnight when all family members asleep, Begum Rokeya was passionate for education and she followed her brothers who went to school and college at that time, her family arranged her marriage at her early age but she was unstoppable and her husband Name Mr. Shakhawat was a very good husband beside being a great human being so he supports a lot Begum Rokeya to establish female education successfully even after getting married.
Begum Rokeya not only a pioneer of women's right but also she has a great contribution to Bengali literature as she was a great poet and writer too.
Her story Sultana's Dream
was famous story. At the beginning she has suffered many difficulties at that time as society was against female education and she fought for equal rights as she believed that men and women should treat equally. Women can do everything as men can do. Now we are living in a developed society where women treated well and equally 99% .
99% because there are still some discrimination found in villages and undeveloped areas.

I just highlight a few lines from your post:
I think the current scenario is worse than the time of Begum Rokeya. Wonderful what would she do if she were alive at this time!
Thanks vai for taking time to read my blog, I'm honored and agree with your point, it worse than before
