2008 #IndyGP | Full MotoGP Race

Last week, MotoGP.com uploaded yet another full classical MotoGP race to their YouTube channel. In this occasion, it was the 2008 #IndyGP in the legendary Indianapolis circuit in the United States.

The race is remembered for having some of the worst weather conditions in the 20 years of MotoGP history. With a hurricane nearby, rain and a gale blowing towards the end of the race, that had to be stop with 7 laps to go. These awful conditions forced race direction to cancel the 250 c.c. race.

Spoiler alert

Though Casey Stoner had a great start and led the race at the begining, he was quickly overtaken by other riders such as Lorenzo, Hayden, and, later on, Rossi, who, after a battle with Dovizioso, managed to catch up with Hayden, who was leading the race, and overtook him. Rossi never looked back after that, and he led until the race was red-flagged due to wheather conditions.
