Weekly challenge/promo-steem meetup photography contest by @ruthjoe

Hello steemians,

Am happy to be here, i appreciate this great community @bestofbangladesh for the platform and i thank @msharif for hosting this contest.

My name @ruthjoe and am from Nigeria. I joined steemit this year febuary..my journey thus far has been smooth because i have people i look up to on this platform who have been of great help to me, guiding me and making sure my questions and confusions are cleared up and glad to say that i have grown. Such persons include my city cordinator @talktofaith, @ceendy20 @bright-obias @kadosh2340 and @focusnow.

We hold our meetups once every month and in the month of my our first steemit meetup was organised by @talktofaith in the month of may. It was a great opportunity to meet with some other steemians, questions where asked and answers were given. Our first meetup was done without a branded t-shirt. We had alot of persons present and new people indicated interest to join the platform.

Our second meetup was held last month june. It was an amazing and a huge success as every one was on our branded steem t-shirt. It was really fun, everyone looked colourful and at the end i was glad i attended the meetup.

Meetups are great! Its an avenue to promote steem and steemit, train and teach and encourage people about the plaform and recruit more people to join to.
