Updating my witness votes once in a few months !
In this post and video I want to share why I'm voting on some witnesses and why I unvoted some.
A Steem Witness is a person who operates a witness server (which produces blocks), and publishes a price feed of STEEM/USD to the network. source - steem wiki
So, I vote on a witness if I see him useful for the community. If he's witness is not disabled. If he/she creates something useful for the blockchain. If he/she holds some steem power. And if steem is promoted by him/her.
Let me write about each witness apart :
- I voted and still voting for @roelandp because he is the organiser of @steemfest , the best event where steemians meet in real life. He's well known by a lot of steemians. He's the top witness as well.

- @yabapmatt is a witness and developer of a lot of useful websites and applications related to steem. He's the creator of steem keychain, the cool extension that save your keys only on your pc without sharing them to a website. He's supporting @steemmonsters and steem-engine.com the home of the tribes created on steem.

- @blocktrades one of the biggest account in term of holding steem power. They also support a lot of applications, witnesses, developers, proposals and they do a lot for steem blockchain. You can check all the proposals we have here : steemproposals.com. You can also check their exchange where you can exchange steem to other crypto, buy steem or steem power : blocktrades.us.
- @gtg a very helpful steemian and witness. He's active in steem.chat helping steemians and supporting channels there. He's also a developer who support a lot of projects in steem.
- @aggroed is the creator of @minnowsupport the biggest discord server with over 19k members. He's also the creator of steem-engine.com where you can trade all tokens created on steem. He's also a very active steemian.

- @themarkymark I voted for him today because I see him upvoting a lot of active steemians who are creating quality content. He was running the upvote bot @buildawhale, but he turned that into a curation project that's making a lot of steemians happy.
- @good-karma I'm voting for him since I joined steem 2 years and 5 months ago. I like a lot the application @esteemapp he created and how he's always improving it. You can even install the esteem serfer that you can use to browse on your pc.
- @timcliff is a great steemian and the witness who always helped me when I ask about any thing related to steem. He's also the supported of EIP (Economic Improvement Proposal) and he supports @steem.dao as well.
- @drakos is also a nice steemian and cool witness. He's among the team of creativecoin.xyz the tribe that supports creativity in steem. He's very supportive as well.
- @ocd-witness is the witness of @acidyo who's running one of the best projects to support the quality in steem and that's @ocd ( original content ). The team is doing well by also upvoting using the @ocdb account to upvote those who are promoting steem. So, you can use #posh ( prove of share ) tag in case you're sharing your links in other social media and proving that in the comments and you will have the chance to be supported.
- @therealwolf is the creator of @smartsteem the most famous upvote bot that was turned into a curation project and the team is curating #steem tag and a lot of interesting content on the blockchain. You can also earn points by delegating to the project, you can check the details here : smartsteem.com
- @emrebeyler he's the creator of dpoll.io the website where you can run a poll on steem blockchain.
- @actifit is one of the best applications created on steem blockchain that supports steemians to be healthier. It's created by @mcfarhat
- @pharesim very active witness who care about the blockchain and who is running @curangel to make some order on steem. I respect what's he doing and I'm voting for him for a long time. Because since I joined steem he was supporting me a lot and I never forget that. I guess he like to help newcomers to grow. Of course if they are legit and bringing value.
- @stoodkev is the creator of @steem-plus the application that's helping a lot of steemians. It shows a lot of details about our account on steemit and it saves our time. That's why I always use it and I'm voting for the witness who created it. ☺
- @arcange is from the team of @steemitboard the website that's motivating a lot of steemians to be active and rewarding them with cool badges for their achievement. I still vote for both because I think it's really useful for steemians.
- @blockbrothers is the witness of @exyle who created Steemify ( the notification steem application ). He's also actively recording vlogs sharing a lot of important information about the blockchain. Supporting steemians by upvotes as well.
- @holger80 also a well known witness and developer who is working on a lot of projects on steem. I know as well that he's working on steem-engine.com that's why I still vote for him.
- @helpie is a great project supported by a lot of cool steemians like @meno and others. Despite not having a lot of steem power, they still work together to grow and to support those who deserve support. Of course I will keep my vote for them. ☺
- @firepower I know this witness also for a long time, since I joined steem. I like to use steem.chat
created by him. It's really a useful website where steemians can easialy be found and it's easy to contact them there. They also have a lot of channels there, where you can find your niche.
- @steemgigs is the witness of @surpassinggoogle the guy who was supporting me and a lot of steemians when he was a whale. Despite losing that big delegation, he kept working on steem and creating more and more projects on it. The best of them is the idea of @ulogs where anyone can be famous on the web. Anyone can be a celebrity and I support that idea and that's why I was and still voting for the witness.
- @justyy I believe that he's a nice witness as well. He's the creator of a very good tool that I always use to check delegators and in fact we can check a lot of things there : https://steemyy.com/
- @mahdiyari is the creator of steemauto.com one of the best automation tool for steemians. I use it and I like the interface.
- @ura-soul also an excited witness about steem running ureka.org that's working on the blockchain as well.
- @qurator is a witness and a project that's liked by a lot of steemians. The team are also supporting a lot and I like that they created their own token recently and they are growing and doing very well.
- @dmitrydao I voted for him today because I see him the creator of steemproposals.com. I think that's really important project for steem. Everyone has the right to make a proposal to improve our blockchain.
- @yoodoo I voted for them today because I know that's the team are from @oracle-d m the same who are running @threespeak where I start actively to create my videos. I like their vision about onboarding steemians and how they are doing their best to attract social media influencers. That's why I voted for them and I think I will be voting for them for a long time.
- @ausbitbank I voted for him today because I saw him supporting a lot of steemians and I saw him before active in a lot of projects, so I decided to vote on him because i like active steemians.
Those are all witnesses I prefer and support by my voting and i want to let all my 5624 followers in steemit know about that.
