A tendon is broken by excessively playing the Candy Crush
A 29-year-old American suffered an injury while playing the popular "Candy Crush Saga." It turns out that he broke the tendon of his thumb after an excess of games with the cell phone and, most curious of all, he did not even notice.
He did not know anything despite having a broken tendon because he kept playing several days without realizing what was happening to him. The injury, moreover, occurred in the thick area of the tendon, so it must have been very painful. For this, Dr. Andrew Doan, of the Naval Medical Center of San Diego, recognized that videogames are "digital analgesics", since their power acts on the mind and the human body.
