Green Kids of Woolpit

in #history6 years ago

It is an unsolved mystery from 1100's and I find it quite interesting. When the people in Woolpit were living in peace in harmony , 2 green children showed up out of nowhere , well they still continued to live in peace in harmony . However this mysterious event never solved and now I will give some details about it.

Story

In 12. Century 2 children showed up mysteriously in some villaged called Woolpit located in England. I say "showed mysteriously" because these children were green and they couldn't speak our language to communicate and they were using some kind of weird language , moreover they were only eating green beans.

Well these 2 children doesn't have any physical differences except that they are green. They were brothers and sisters and sadly , the boy got sick and died after a while , however the girl started to adapt to the daily life , she started to eat food other than green beans and she learned english.

Oh also she turned to normal color , however girl couldn't explain how did they come to the Woolpit. The last thing she remember is that her father was feeding some animal and they heard weird noises and they found themselves in Woolpit.

They think that they followed that animal and found themselves in Woolpit. However the main question should be Where instead of How ? Well if you live in an isolated life you may speak different language and because of pigments eating green bean only might turn your skin slighlty greenish. Eventhough this is a quite interesting historical phenemenon.

Thanks for Reading & Hasta La Vista
