Wow, this is an episode I have never heard. Between as for the government's actions, I think they were justified. I would have also done the same probably. The threat was not from the weapons of the weavers, but their thinking. This kind of thinking that, govt is our enemy and we must be ready to eradicate them, creates an unstable society. But who knows, maybe weavers were right after all.
