PLVS GRANDE EN SERA LA VICTOIRE

Here is a french token (counter) of the called administration " ordinaire des guerre " for the year 1674.
This administration managed financially the armies of the french king during the peace periods or when were in their barracks of affectation. These tokens were distributed bursa of 100 tokens every year to the members of this administration.

On the Obverse : LVD XIIII D G FRA ET NAV REX the bust of the king signed DVFOVR.
On the Reverse : PLVS GRANDE EN SERA LA VICTOIRE Hydra with two heads already cut. 1674.
